More dominant as a champion: Islam or Usman?

Now that Mahatsev has a few defences under his belt, how would you say his dominance over his division stacks up to Kamaru Usman's dominance over WW during his reign? Usman had 5 title defences in total while Islam now has 3.

Currently, it's Usman because he had more defenses and didn't arguably lose to the champ from a lower weight class. However, Islam has less weaknesses and is more well rounded. One can make the argument that Islam has fought better competition relative to what Usman has faced in his first few title defenses. If Islam stays undefeated and is serious about claiming the title at WW too, I definitely see Islam having a better title run in the future.

Islam beat a peak Charles Oliviera who had an excellent championship run. A win over Dustin is arguably better than Colby, Masvidal or burns imo. Volk is kind of a tricky one. He obviously did not make his career at LW and if you believe Volk was at his peak, this means Woodley was too when Usman defeated him. Volk had a better run than Woodley

Colby x2 and Masvidal x2 isn't the strongest run ever.

Beating a prime Charles Oliviera, FW Champ Volk, and Dustin are better than Usmans best wins which would be Colby, Burns, and Champ Woodley. Usman had more defenses but if Islam keeps fighting, he eclipses that.

He’s not dominant in anything besides beating a pint sized volk twice out of 3 fights

Right now Usman.. but I think Islam will surpas him but Usman has accomplished more he's had more defences and faught guys with all da different styles there's really no one at lw with islams style a wrestling striker there's Charles but he's a bjj guy and the guys who can wrestle at lw they don't even try they've become strictly strikers

Actually, the first Volk defense and Poirier is way better then Usmans defenses.
