Its a tough call. Arnold dominates in pretty much every category. But iron Mike would put him to sleep in short order. Depends on your definition of Alpha.

Look, I love the shit out of Mike Tyson and wish for nothing but happiness for him, but all he's ever had is being a damn good boxer.

Meanwhile, Arnold has:

* An inspirational true story about hardwork and determination

* Multiple bodybuilding titles

* Was the top actor in the world for a while

* Didn't blow all his money

* Married a Kennedy (essentially)

* Was the governor of the largest state in America

Basically, by any metric other than who can fight better, Arnold dominates.

Physical dominance stopped being the end all of human leadership about 200,000 years ago.. When some smart tribes realized that the strongest human got owned by every animal without good equipment, planning, and teamwork. It still matters, even today, but I would mix IQ and emotional intelligence with the physical capabilities pretty evenly.

Arnold because he accomplished so much more. Most people don't realize he was a self made millionaire before he ever started acting, before he was 30, from a brick laying business in LA...in a country where he didn't even speak the language when he first arrived. He conquered body building (and actually got bodybuilding some visibility), then he conquered acting (action movie king even till this day), and then he conquered politics, marrying a Kennedy (a pretty hot one, too) and becoming governor of California.

I mean, that's a lot.

but Mike's an admittedly unconfident person who struggles with many insecurities.

Now, I respect him for admitting that. Some might say that that's "alpha" to admit that. But I don't know.

If you're goal in life is to be a humble person then you're not aiming for alpha.
