Yeah especially with tempered monsters, potions heal so little the next hit is usually a one shot anyway

you can also bring some honey and upgrade the potions... I use the regular potions to top off my HP. can never be too careful. lol

made the friendship charm 3 plus got that goofy ass wiggler helm that gives me +2 to wide ranges so now I'm +5 wide range.

Was using max potions with no effect on other players last night. Must have been timely heals on their part that lead me to believe I’d healed them. Only works with green potions I believe

I just unlocked high rank yesterday. After spending time grinding to make all the low rank equipment

Haha, I did the same thing. Literally useless 5 mins into high rank and just upgraded to HR bone gear.

I've been trying to keep one Golden Ticket on me from the weekly limited bounties to meld into an Elder Dragon Gem in a pinch. Had to cash my last one in for the Nerg Gem for his Greatsword. Just about done with this weeks bounties and nothing I'm currently working to scrounge together so will likely bank the next Golden Ticket for a rainy day.

Been working on building my HR and I must say that Val Haazak with full evluvial resistance is a push over. He tells are huge, his attack openings are long, and his under belly is a weak spot so damn near attack is does high damage.

Yeah he's actually super easy to defeat. I've 2-manned the tempered version pretty easily.

Think the most annoying for me is Teostra because I still randomly die against him. Haven't tried tempered Kirin yet so I am a little excited when I'll attempt it.

it might just be liquid stuff I got 72 heals/buffs in a ten minute fight against Val Haazak. Then in my next one agaist Nerg just brought mega armourskin, mega demondrug, and mega potion and the powders and got like 56 heals/buffs. Plus got a warrior stone to drop from Nerg so stopped wearing that wiggler helm.

Got my damn Teostra gem first thing this morning, augment the Laviathans Fury for 90k zenny, and even with white sharpness, it’s shittier than the Jagras Hacker with 1 augment and elementless gem

you get another one of those lvl cap quest at rank 49 to fight a tempered Kirin I'd load up on thunder res gear for that like the thunder res mantle and decorations. Before you kill the kirin though follow it around to collect it's tracks and fur you wont aggro it unless you attack it so you can just follow it around the whole time trying to get tempered investigations which are pretty rare.
