I think the spareshot charm made the Narga set obsolete except when using a Safi weapon that has the narga essence on it

I use the spareshot charm on my gunner loadout because the Nargacuga armour is bad. I'd much prefer true spareshot and was hoping to get better armour from a Nargacuga variant that has skills and slots that compliment gunners.

I'm learning Longsword now though, as i got tired of ammo managment for bowgun.

I've read he's even worse than Alatreon. True spare shot set bonus ftw though.

From what i've seen, my usual weapon Lance is completely useless against Fatalis. I'm leaning towards sticky LBG but i've also seen some good greatsword strategies using hit n' run frostcraft builds. The AT Velkhana set looks great for frostcraft GS builds so maybe wait for that to drop.

I'm not good enough with Longsword to use that and it's been a long time since i used Bow, although i did use it for best part of a year so it shouldn't take long to get used to it again.

It's quite exciting to see how much of a mofo Fatalis is. I didn't get my ass handed to me in Iceborne until Alatreon so i look forward to this new challenge, as painful as it may be.

I'm gonna retrain Greatsword and try that. Hit n' run looks like a good strategy and i'll use a frostcraft build as well, which is something new to me.

Much worse. I've tried it only twice so far but I'll need to put in some serious time with Lance against it. The chip damage when blocking is fucking bad.

That's why i'm switching back to Greatsword. The chip damage sounds lethal so i'm opting for mobility and staying out the line of fire.

I put like 200 hrs into this when it first came out, want to get back into it but it's a bit daunting. Must be loads of new content.

The second attempt was with a switch axe. I've got a fully upgraded safi blast swax but I'm just straight up not proficient enough with it.

Turns out sticky is the way to cheese him even with the KO immunity. Its good for part breaks and does consistent damage regardless of hitzones

Lol I can't even last 10 minutes with this thing. All 5 carts gone. Its waaaaaaaaay overtuned. I'm getting one shot with full fortify and health boost 3.

Yeah. Its not going well. This thing shits on Safi armor. And on my GS frostcraft set as well. I might bow out of this one since the game is dead after this anyway.
