Got one today.

Messed around with Dracolites but didn't find Spread Capacity Up.

The good thing about Zinogre HBG is that it does most of its stuff with low recoil and fast reload, which is also why I have yet to upgrade my Luna Blaze HBG.

If you haven't crafted the Safi armor, make it a priority. Fucking 40% affinity when weapon is drawn. Makes the crit eye meta obsolete.

That's a lot of Safi in order to get that...but I'm tempted.

Also tempted to get Xeno II HBG. Looks like a good jack-of-all-trades gun and being able to fire all four element shots makes it unique...

May as well farm the hell out of Safi. Spare weapons can be sealed for dracolite and as spare Safi parts can be turned into weapons.

Really? Nice. I have loads spare as I've been doing Safi pretty much exclusively over the last few days.

Only thing is that I'm not really breaking any parts, and I have Partbreaker 3.

I use sticky hbg with artillery 5 and breaker 3 with Rajang hbg and sticky 3. Back has very low HP, wings have moderate, head has like 20k hp and the legs have quite a bit as well. Chest has like 6k. Takes coordination to get decent breaks but you should be able to get the back and wings by yourself if you're consistent and it's not a short run.

Honestly, I used Loyal Thunder for a bit, but as of late I've been using Franz Glacia, for its follow ups on Cluster 1&2, slicing and it's sleep and exhaust ammo types. Don't even touch Pierce for the most part.

Maybe I'll look for a HBG that deals primarily in explosive damage...

That would be the Rajang destroyer. It has auto load sticky 3 and has cluster 3.
 
Beat Behemoth with a group. Not the same feeling as doing it solo but i will come back to that when i'm better prepared. Had a fantastic hunting horn user who kept us all going.

You were right @deadshot138 about the drachen armor being good. So much critical eye.

Crit boost and masters touch with the 4 piece bonus as well.

I've never beaten Behemoth. Even when I was good enough to beat him, the three others wouldn't be, and I really don't like playing alone.

A good medic really makes a team.

Maybe i got lucky. Tried another team run the other day and the others all got carted. One by meteor and two others got pounced on.

I'd like to see a master rank Behemoth. I'm seeing a lot more players with wide-range.

Man, that video was impressive. I'm not really a fan of the scope though, especially on spread shot. Would a long barrel or close-range substitute?

I have bazel beta, guard 5, guard up, earplug 5, spread 2 etc. Not much attack in comparison though.

Nah, there's no substitute for the scope. Its 30 percent more damage.
 
I've been using Safi blast Great Sword as of late and man, does that thing do some damage. It's the first weapon that I've fully upgraded (3x sharpness V, element up V and sharpness VI).

Also bought Xeno HBG II. I've convinced myself that any gun with recoil and long reloads are bullshit and after adding 3x recoil dampening, reload and shield, the gun is just too weak, with too poor of a guard to be effective.

I've played this game a lot for over a year. I may switch to Outer World's or Witcher 3 for a bit.
