Barely had to grind at all for those, I'm damn near set for my weapons, just need to work on decorations and armor. Nergigante is standing in my way but I don't think he stands a chance against these builds. Hopefully the high Elderseal works out for me.

Jhos weapons are amongst the best in the game and destroy elder dragons so Nerg should be a piece of pie.

It wasn't the easiest battle but I made it through him after a couple of carts. Farmed him enough afterwards to get that life stealing set and then farmed Jho for a gem. Got a Nerg gem too but I'm not sure if I should run Critical Eye 3 over Handicraft 2 without Protective Polish.

Finally got to Xino'jiiva tonight and only took one faint from him, damn shame I can't farm that mission because I want that gear! Fucking beautiful ending too.

This game is up with Pokemon and Fire Pro Wrestling in my top 3 game series of all time. I'm bummed I didn't get in to earlier but I'm grateful to have found it. The monster designs are simple yet complex and the amount of gameplay options feels limitless. Now I get to start the real challenge and take on the huge rosters of the portable games.

I think my next two goals are to get another Jho gem for the Deep Vero horn and then take on Kushala Daora for that beautiful squid glaive.

You got this! Just invest in evasion and ice attack. Diablos was the only non Elder Dragon to cart me three times but he was a lot easier the second time. By the time I got to the Diablos and Black Diablos quest he was a total pushover.

Yeah, i'm gonna craft an ice bow before i go after him. I fought him before in a group during an expedition and we all got pwned. I'm definitely better since then, though. Managed to beat Rathalos solo on my first try(carted twice).

No idea, I sucked at the bow and was told it's not really good until the end game. Can't go wrong with Odegaron and Rathalos gear at that point in the game in though.

Thought I would farm a Kushala Daora investigation tonight to get my hands on that squid glaive. It was a 30 minute limit in the Ancient Forest. I knew it would be tough but didn't expect the nightmare that it was. Constant zoning with the wind to keep me from getting hits or mounting, constant movement so I couldn't get my kinsect buffs, and flying around the forest meant I spent 15 minutes just chasing him.

Got it with a couple minutes to spare though. Need a couple more hunts for some more webbing, but I got a gold crown out of it which made the hunt a good one. I'm going to be a happy hunter when I don't have to see that asshole again.

I never got around to doing MP, but from all I've read about it, It's so needlessly complicated and everybody hates how much of a pain in the ass it is just to hop into MP.

I'd suggest just looking up some videos on it.

It's really not that hard, one of you invite the others to their server, post the quest you want to do like normal, then the others go to "Join Quest" and it should be there. The person posting it has to have seen the cutscenes first though.

I never got to playing this game. I was scared off by this web designer and his cosplay girlfriend. On their downtime, they would just smoke meth and grind in the earlier handheld version of this game

If you want to progress through the story, just join through matchmaker, post the quest, start the game and fire a SOA flare when you meet the monster.

I'm pretty much happy with my Alpha Urugaan set, but I'm still getting smashed by the two Bezelgause, even after defeating them. No assigned quests have come up since then...

I haven't played Xbox in days actually, as I feel a bit rotten afterwards, like I am wasting my life...

Just finished the two tempered Bazels and shot up from HR 29 to HR 42. Feels good. Right before that I was starting to farm the tempered investigations and realized that's where you get the decorations.

The tempered scrubs were a breeze but those two fuckers had some seriously deadly explosives, they'd practically one shot me. Patience was key yet the hunt still lasted only 16 minutes somehow.

I guess now I work up to 49 and put my thunder resist decos to good use. Just about to get internet back after moving so maybe I can stop doing these solo lol.

What system? I'm looking to take him on as well since he's got the best armor.

I've tried the Bazelgeus lance and Deviljho HBG but didn't have too much luck with them. I'm sure I just need more time is all though.

Xbox One S.

I solo with either Karma LBG and full Legianna Armor, or with Nergal Impaler Lance and Uruguaan armor.

Multiplayer, I’m using a Nergal HBG with shield and Urugaan armor, but I’m not having much success in general.

I used to use a Hammer from time to time in MHFU, though I do rely a lot on Guard...

Any MH:W players on PC here? I had it on Xbox but sold it, got my gaming pc back up and running and am thinking about picking it up on the summer sale when that starts ( hopefully it’s on there lol )

Just wondering if it’s better than it is on Xbox, or if there’s still a big community on PC. Don’t want to buy a game and have no randoms to help out lol
