Monster Hunter...Enlighten Me

So is Dauntless a complete ripoff from this game or whats different?

lol so true. this game is cheesy as fuck after fighting the same monsters over and over for gear. It was only fun when I would hope on Co op and some high rank Japanese dudes would mop the floor with an elder monster.

I coulnd't even sell the game for 10 bucks on Craigslist.

That’s been a thing in every monster hunter. Different variants of existing monsters and different gear to go with said monsters.

Those were classic monster variants, from previous games, some have big changes and others are pretty small. There were still like 11 to 12 unique monsters after that so y'all missed out.

As far as not being able to sell it, it's Capcom's best selling game of all time and they're about to be selling it again as a bundle with the expansion. It may not be your kind of game but that definitely doesn't mean it's a bad game.

Should probably stick to Fortnite. You couldn’t sell it because anyone who wants it already has it.

It looks like a straight ripoff with Fortnite graphics to me. I saw some gameplay though and there's some interesting stuff going on with some of the monsters. Like a cat that can open up voids and jump in and out of them. If you had done everything you wanted to in all the Monster Hunter games, I think it might be worth checking out, but I'm only just starting personally.

Im playing dauntles with my lil ones on our own consoles they are 9yo so i feel like dauntless is exactly for them (but i am also having fun)...Its also free lol

Never played Monster Hunter but it seems that if i like Dauntless i would most def like Monster Hunter.
 
Got sick of trying to get Vaal Hazak fangs and having my teammates die on me, so I bought Elite Dangerous.

Figured out how to leave, then fly to an asteroid belt. Then found out that I didn't know how to warp to other systems, so rammed myself into an asteroid and died.

Waste of £20.

You can farm Vaal hazak fangs without killing him. Drop the two boulders on him and smash his face till his head breaks. Then return from quest, not abandon quest.

Ah I see, I was going to say it's probably a good alternative if you don't own any Monster Hunter games. You can share an account between the console and PC too which is nice. I imagine you'd love MH if you like it, it looks like if they skinned the top layer of the game. The depth of MH is one of my favorite parts.

I got some Miasma jewels and just a couple helps a ton.
 
Got myself a Spreadshot jewel and took it in to the arena with my Deviljho HBG and a Radobaan.

I mean I was using cluster bombs and sticky shots more than anything, but the spread shots were fun. I'll farm Jho next for that LBG, I want to try one out anyways.

I'm totally ignorant with the guns and only just figured out how the ammo works but it was pretty cool seeing such crazy damage from a safe distance. And I can fill a support role which is really nice.
 
This is one of the games I tried out but didn't like it.
 
Only 5 days left until the steam summer sale, I’ve waited awhile now for this game to go on sale and if it doesn’t I miiiiight break my pc lmao ( I will buy it regardless ) I’m not looking forward to the grind of just catching up to where I was on Xbox, but I can’t wait to go on the hunt.

Are those special crossover events a limited time thing? Or will I be able to do them when I pick the game up here in a week?
