News Mom Chases Man Who Tries To Abduct Her 18Yr. Daughter

Apparently he asked her out when they worked together and she rejected him. Then he quit and began stalking her.

Also apparently the cops found rope, sleeping pills, and condoms in his car after this.
Now I know who stoled my car.

Good on the mom... let me guess, again in a leftist shithole?

Can we not bring politics into this, it was just your average socialist communion and that woman should've have left her door open and her stuff and daughter belongs to the community and that man just wanted his turn... OKAY!!!! it's this capitalist attitude that's ruining this planet!!!!

As a father to a teenage daughter, this shit scares the fuck out of me. Doesn't matter how safe the area, some random incel can always become obsessed with a girl.

You teach her what you can but at some point there's nothing more you can do but hope.

Yea I watched this video recently. Ex-boyfriend from like 2 years ago knocks on his ex-girlsfriends house. I forget why but I think they just said "Hey Mike she doesn't want to see you please leave". He didn't and started slamming his shoulder into the door harder and harder trying to get in.

He eventually got in and the dad had to shoot and kill him. They even warned the kid that the dad had a gun and not to come in.

Edit- Found the video:

it’s wild how delusional one can be while grieving, straight up spinning lies despite video evidence to the contrary

What about weapons?

I have talked to my girls about pepper spray and concealed carry.
They were pretty responsive to the idea.

One day I won't be there to protect my girls. But Smith and Wesson can be with them most places.

my girls typically go in groups, I have two that are teenagers and going together is helpful. Not putting on makeup makes them less attractive, but it's only a matter of time before they figure this out........

Even with pepper spray, they will end up losing and dont take it seriously enough since we live in a fairly good neighborhood...... but shady characters can appear out of the blue in any neighborhood with the exception of really upscale areas in the mountains.

they'll end up tossing it around only to have your younger kids have access to a dangerous weapon........ at least that's what mine do......

I'm not sure I follow what your are saying here. Could you clarify and spell it out?

Situational awareness, violence as "possibly needed" mindset, and ability to properly respond to threats are what every human needs to have and what most women that I've known lack.

I've talked to women who have almost been abducted, have been stalked, or have been physically or sexually assaulted and have seen them not change their mindset or attempt to decrease the odds of being victimized again. No EDC knife carry, no application for gun permit, no carrying of non-lethal defensive weapons or taking self defense training. Many still put themselves in similar situations. It's baffling.

Well at least he was gonna wear a condom.

That's considerate of him.

Yeah that's actually not too bad scenario. At least the guy attacked while the dad was there to protect his daughter.

Agreed. But she's too young to carry a gun so I have her carry pepper spray. She's at that age where she wants to hang out at places without me there, so I just have rules about her going in groups.

Even with pepper spray, they will end up losing and dont take it seriously enough since we live in a fairly good neighborhood...... but shady characters can appear out of the blue in any neighborhood with the exception of really upscale areas in the mountains.
Yeah you don't want to make them live in fear, but also they need to realize that even in a safe area, they can get stalkers. I mean this dude in the video was a coworker of the victim's. Not some random street thug.

Very good point and I whole heartedly agree that situational awareness is arguably the most important and simultaneously the most overlooked aspect of personal safety.

It is crazy to me how it seems that a large percentage of the population would rather put themselves in danger than possibly be perceived as being racist/discriminatory.

When I talk to my daughters, my wife and I use the analogy of the "Yellow Brick Road" - that you don't ever want to be in an unfamiliar place:
-Alone
- at night
- without people nearby ro serve as witness/deterrent.

When they get older that talk is going to include (and we have already introduced these concepts)

- don't ever be too drunk to protect yourself
- don't ever be alone with a guy you don't know and trust
- don't leave your friends at a party, especially in unfamiliar setting, and vice Verse, make sure friends don't leave you.
- don't ever leave your drink unattended, if you go to the bathroom either finish it first or take it with you.

what? are you implying that there are zero crimes committed in red states? are you dense?
Every time you see this crap in the news, it's nearly always out of the same fucking areas... but apparently we're all not supposed to notice or comment on that.

Defund the police!!! ...Oh violent crime went through the roof? Just a strange coincidence apparently.

The obvious question is: Am I wrong? Where did this happen?

Good on Mom for stepping up to the much larger attacker.

I find it dismaying that they knew the guy, knew he presented a potential future risk of assault, abduction, rape, and possibly death to the daughter yet neither woman had a 4" blade NYC compliant EDC knife on them.

Someone needs to "disappear" that scumbag. He's not going to stop and NY doesn't protect its citizens.
