MMA vs SEAL, who will win??

This... armed forces receive basic hth training, special forces a bit more. There are soldiers that devote extrs training at hand to hand but its not their primary focus.

Then again mma fighters train to compete within a specific set of non lethal rules while special forces train to disable and kill.

I would venture there are very few mms fighters that could kill or maim without hesitation; a seal would not hesitate...

I'd say a seal would absolutely hesitate to kill a random person. Killing or maiming is a crime. Say for instance you got in a bar fight with a seal, he most certainly would not be looking to kill you. That's a murder charge.

MMA has the advantage at any hand to hand combat. It's what they train for and being allowed to kick the nuts doesn't change much. If we elevate the fight to knives IMO it's still 50/50 since a lot of jiu jitsu is dealing with people on the street(at least at my gym we train against knives and guns). Guns it's easily the SEAL
rofl @ a BJJ guy stopping a trained killer with weapons h2h experience. LMAO!!!

Cool. UFC has had fixed fights as well. Doubt you'd be able to fix a streetfight vs a SEAL tho

Oh I could fix a fight with a SEAL alright...fix it with an overhand right! Then it's Nighty-night mr. seal...have fun diffusing your next bomb.

In an octagon fight and in the same weight class a high level MMA fighter will win 9/10 times.
In actual combat, where you can use weapons, your surroundings and stuff SEAL or other special forces soldier will have advantage, because they don't teach you to kill people in an MMA gym.

A 230 lb seal beats a 135 lb MMA fighter.

If they're the same weight class, the MMA fighter wins.

I haven't seen this situation with a seal that I know of, but the 135lb mma fighter will beat the 230lb military combat trained individual. I trained for a small gym that had a nice stable of small show pros. We had some good 135-155lb fighters as well as a lot of people like me who didn't fight yet but trained. Law enforcement, military, wrestlers, etc all got schooled. Little guys would school plenty of big guys. I was a big tough guy who got schooled my first month. Leverage is a funny thing.

Anyone remember the show "pros vs joes"? They had a guy on there who was some kind of military close combat instructor and he had to grapple randy couture. The guy got tapped like 3-4 times in just a couple minutes. I think just about anyone other than a professional fighter would lose and there's no shame in that.
