This just popped up on my feed:

'This was an MMA cage match': Aggressive squirrels attacking people in New York

“We’re wrestling in the snow and there’s blood everywhere and my fingers getting chewed and it won’t let go,” Frederick said. “Eventually, it just stopped and there I was a big bloody mess.”

"This was an MMA cage match! And I lost!” she added.

Two other neighbors told WCBS the squirrel had jumped on them, seemingly unprovoked.

“These squirrels are aggressively going after people,” Vinati Singh said.

Old ladies in Queens are now using "mma cage match" as an everyday analogy for being attacked by squirrels. Does this mean MMA has finally been legitimized in the mainstream? Or is the old lady just a hardcore fan?

Thoughts? <Prem974>

MMA is already mainstream. EA sports makes the video games for consoles. This thread wouldve made sense 10 years ago when we were shocked if someone mentioned mma in mainstream media

Obviously not an A level athlete if a varmint is chewing on your appendages.

I know a guy who got attacked by a squirrel, only he provoked it.
He claims that he was chilling on his balcony when the squirrel appeared and began to run from one end of the balcony to the other. As it was about to pass him, he put out his leg to block it. This apparently pissed the squirrel off. He came to work the next day with scratches all over his face.

One time I had a dream I was walking down a sidewalk and this squirrel from up in a tree jumped out and landed on my face and started fucking me up. Yeah I still remember that dream. Looks like it wasn't that far off from reality.
