MMA fighters who completely disappeared

I watched a lot of IFL and WEC-Chris Horodecki
He was awesome! Unfortunately he lived a party life style, on two occasions I saw him and his buddies blackout drunk roaming Huntington Beach. Then his coach Shawn Thompson passed away, lots of his fighters were not the same after.

it always bothered me seeing him get hurt. he looks like a kid. or he did. dunno what he looks like now.
He def had a babyface

In 2019 he still looks like he's got it

Chris Lytle is still an important part of the MMA community; his youtube channel, LytesOut MMA History Podcast, is his own project to preserve the history of early MMA.

Not a lot of followers, but a lot of stuff that "MMA historians" that like to hang out in threads like this one will enjoy. He uploads regularly too, plenty of interesting guests come over to tell their stories.

Nowadays it's pretty much the only MMA related podcast I listen to in English, it's just fun to have old timers show up to talk about old MMA fairy tales and give their side of the stories.
This podcasts looks very interesting, thanks!

Sherk seemed to just fade away like he never existed. Which always made me sad. I liked watching him.

Scott Smith had underrated power. Never gets mentioned in threads about KO power but he had like 7 KOs via a punch.
Its not underrated, its literally the most noteworthy thing about him.

Its just not alot of newer fans are aware of him.

He reminded of Chris Leben, people would get caught trying to open up to put him away and thats when he got you. He knocked Kyle Noke out of the TV screen ahahaha

Josh koshcheck
Kendell Grove
Tj Grant
Miguel torres
Germaine de Randamie
The one thing I remember best about Kendall Grove is just how extraordinarily hard Rogan rode his nuts. BJ Penn was in his prime then, and Hawaiians were seen as being super tough and possessing mystical MMA powers. Grove, being Hawaiian and training at Cobra Kai, was a beneficiary of the Hawaiian hype, and Rogan pushed that shit hard.

So you're saying he's always mentioned in threads about guys with power?

Source? I don't think I recall seeing a single post ever mentioning him

What Im saying is that its not like people saying his power sucks, its just that people have forgotten about him. If ya brought him up,people be like OH YEAH he did have power. People dont really bring up Leben in those threads either, but both these guys were similar.
