Regardless of your friends, we're talking about two different things. You initially said Ratner was a part of some scheme and was compensated later for it. Now you're saying he may have had no idea and are trying to compare it to a friend standing outside a store while it's being robbed.

If he didn't know about it then he didn't know about it. There's nothing else to it.

Im saying he must likely was, but even if he wasn't he could've been doing something at the time that he didn't know the future of.

Think about how small mma was at the time.
He was friends with the Fertittas...do you think its impossible?

Cause I was saying that maybe that's hiw it went down is all.

Nothing is impossible of course. But you're making it sound like Ratner was involved in some massive scheme to buy the UFC, get MMA regulated, and then in 2006 get hired by the UFC.

The most likely scenario is that he was indeed a part of getting it regulated and was hired by the UFC much later to help them get regulated in the remaining states. Whether there was shady stuff involved otherwise is certainly possible but let's not pretend like it's highly likely that Marc Ratner was involved in this intricate scheme starting with buying the UFC in 2001.

I said it was possible sir, I also said if he WAS involved that would be the most likely scenario.

Im saying IF it did happen that would be one of the more likely ways it would happen.
I say that from history, and how it has happened in the past.

Ripping off investors is very different to specifically fucking over organised crime syndicates.

And I didn't say its impossible just that it's very unlikely given the potential repercussions if caught or even just seriously suspected.

I don't see how the analogy is so far off the mark.

Yeah but the whole point of this is whether he knew. Otherwise why are we even talking about it? Everyone involved would be an "accomplice". It's a pointless analogy.

If that's what you're trying to argue then sure, Marc Ratner was involved in this scheme. So were the secretaries in the offices.
