You forgot to say CURRENT champions.
Cause overall there were UFC champions with more defences.

Joe B who is also one of Cruz's best wins. They are the only guys to beat him.


Since they fought MM has won 11 fights.

Cruz has won 3 and they are:
Miz,
the narrowest of close decisions against TJ
and an old washed version of Faber who had no place being in a title fight.

Do I know MM will beat Cruz, no, but is that one hell of a good fight and the only super fight possible in MMA right now, oh HELL YES.

Agree, it's sad what Cruz career became after the fight because of injuries... the fact he came back and won the title is amazinG..

Man I was waiting for barao vs cruz so bad! I legit thought he had a massive chance of beating Cruz! Then tj came along and just put the brakes on barao career :(.

Hope the UFC does cruz vs MM, it might not get massive buys but it is the only super fight we could make at this time.. or maybe jones/DC vs stipe.

Ive wanted so many super fights and we get eddie conor. Such a let down.
 
MM is amazing and a truly great champion. He's cursed with a lack of big name competition and part of that is there aren't bigger names at that weight because there aren't that many fans of the weight class. He's amazing to watch, but he doesn't get PPV's. Does that matter as a sport? No. Does it matter anyway? Sure does.

Might Mouse will go down as the greatest UFC champion of all time.. He should move up and destroy Conor
 
He's down for going to Bantamweight, and I'm stoked to see him fight that murderers row. BW is fast becoming my favourite division
