My mistake, Grand slam.

Fucking retarded management right there. At least they got 2 in Seattle and are still alive, but they gave this one away. Here's hoping they never bring in Brandon fucking Little ever fucking again, unless they're up by eight runs. Useless.

There was no need to pull Gausman after 87 pitches, he only allowed 1 ER and 3 hits. Why are managers so retarded these days? 87 pitches was a warm up for Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson etc.

Someone needs to take a bat to little’s arm in the changeroom right now so Schneider is not tempted to put him in again in the ALCS. He is a shitshow 10 times out of 10. Horrible manager right there. Too bad Scherzer’s performance didn’t prove to him that he needs to go with his head and not the odds.

I can at least live with that. 87 pitches in the playoffs today, is like 130 in the 90's. Why pull Varland, though? Why, of all the options in a Game 5 of the ALCS when you're up by one stinking run in the 8th inning, do you go with some mid-tier reliever, and not the best you got? Hell, they brought in Hoffman last night when they were up by 6. Mind boggling stupidity to leave him sitting, and bring in some doofus who is routinely behind the count and making innings last longer than they should. Hoffman ain't perfect, but I'm fine with riding or dying with him, and not Brandon fucking Little.

Schneider is a slave to analytics. Gotta turn Raleigh around...even though he has no weakness from either side...

Dumb fuck.

Maybe, maybe not. Gausman was doing well, but extrapolating late inning success or third+ time through the order based on how they've done the first couple rounds through the order tends to be a mistake unless the pitcher is showing utter dominance like a guy like Skubal who has A+ stuff. I think Gausman is very good, but not a guy with A+ stuff. He's a barely above .500 pitcher and a weak "ace" by best starter in the rotation standards.

But bringing in that Little guy was the most comedic over-managing I can remember. Wanted to look smart by doing something unconventional and make switch hitters hit from the other side of the plate. It was obvious the heart of the Seattle order was going to be up in the 8th and instead of bringing in their best relievers or even letting that Varland guy keep pitching they bring in a guy that just doesn't have that great stuff.

Complete fucking bonehead move. I was laughing hysterically at it blowing up in their face. Way to throw away the game and killing massive momentum of sweeping a team 3 games in their home stadium.

LOL, I think we basically made the exact same post.

So infuriating. I was prepared to lose, as sweeping a team on the road in the playoffs is a tall order, but not like that. That was beyond stupid.

Here's hoping the fucking rookie can still bail them out, although I got my doubts about that too. Cinderella is gonna come calling eventually, and this will be their second look at him after they already touched him up a bit.
