So I'm a Mets fan and will give some thought about the team. First I'd like to ask why nobody seems to hit for average anymore. I remember when the top for guys would at least be in the 280 and above batting average now these dudes hit in the 260's if your lucky. Now onto the team Holmes pitched tonight and he has been as expected I thought he'd pitch well but get tired as he is a former reliever. Also how is that going to play in the playoff if we make have him in the bullpen because I think he is likely nearing an inning cap. Trade deadline I wanted Roberts from the White Sox we need a good right handed bat he has power and speed and is good defensively. I'm no his average is low I'm just not a fan of Mullens.

This last thing is going to draw some criticism to my sports opinion but oh well. Rogers the guy we got from SF is a soft tossing right hander throws about as hard as Jamie Moyer I know results are what matters but I'd prefer a guy with better stuff and a higher strike out rate.
