I wouldn't say he did that. I think Romney genuinely and correctly thought that he'd be better for the country than other plausible Trump SoS candidates and was willing to lower himself for the good of America.

What's funny to me is that Romney called Trump "a phony, a fraud," and now it appears that Trump was just pretending to consider him to embarrass him--essentially proving Romney right. And of course Trump's cuck supporters are celebrating it.

It's not but guess what? Liberals went 8 years giving the finger to the right from everything to Executive orders to Obamacare. Now those same people who celebrated Obama's use of a phone and a pen now has to deal with Trump having that same power. If I was Trump, Day 1 i'm recalling all of Obama Executive orders

There is not supporting a guy, which is fine, and then there is what Romney and Cruz did. They used their platforms to publicly denounce, insult and attempt to humiliate Trump, in an effort to get people not to vote for him. You can't walk that shit back.

Regardless of Romney's "patriotism", you can't deny that it looks especially pathetic to go asking for a job from the man he went out of his way to publicly insult. I mean, at least with Cruz, he was an opponent of Trump's and had reason to be angry with the guy. Romney on the other hand came out of the fucking blue to slam Trump.

In the end, regardless of all the factors to consider in this situation, Romney looks like a complete fool with no integrity, and was just publicly humiliated. Sorry, but that's how it looks to most people.

I posted here in 2012 that even though I disagreed with Romney on almost every policy issue, he was highly qualified and as good a candidate as conservatives could ask for. Got attacked by the usual idiots for it.

Yes but just because the other people did something wrong it doesn't mean you have to do the same. Also that is if we assume Obama did that.
The only thing that should matter for Trump is the USA. Doesn't matter what Obama did wrong. If he thinks some executive orders are right he should keep them.

Lol it's almost like you never followed politics before this race.

Clinton went after Obama and ended up as her SoS, HW went after Reagan and ended up being his VP.

Romney spoke his mind about Trump. Told everyone how and why he was unqualified to be POTUS. Told everyone about his weak character.

But he's still a country first guy and was willing to serve his country despite who the POTUS is.

Would Trump be willing to do that? Nope

Because he's a lazy, thin skinned narcissist.

Did Clinton continue to go after Obama after the primaries and into the election? Did HW do the same to Reagan? Romney not only went against Trump in the GOP but he acted against him in the GE as well. He in no way wanted Trump to win.

There was more at stake then just the White House. There was real fear that Trump could hurt them down ticket which is why you saw a lot of the GOP that were up for election ignore Trump.

Reagan and Obama weren't on Twitter during the general election making asses out of themselves saying dumb shit every other day.

Romney actually has character and called him out for being a dumbass.
