Hot Take Missing walkouts, horrific flow, endless ads

Fight Pass is still the old style, no ads over top of the entrances, no commercials when a fight ends, no ads/breaks between rounds. So much better I may just have to subscribe again since my IPTV does not provide the Fight Pass feed anymore. Just grab the Verum releases after it ends but for this event the Verum PPV release goes out of sync for the last 2 fights so the Star release is the best one that is from PPV and not Paramount.

I might start watching after just to save time. I sat there for 9 hours yesterday for maybe an hour of action tops. I can just get it on delay and skip all the bullshit and be done with it.

Yeah the amount of filler is insane when you look at the total fight time of events.

Enjoyed the card except for WMMA and Black beast and I didn't have any issues streaming. I'm not sure what the hullabaloo is all about. Pacing has always been bad in the fight game. Nothing new there.

Aside from a couple hiccups, I was happy with the product... definitely room for improvement, but people are gonna bitch just to bitch at some point.
Agreed, generally speaking. I'll suspend my criticism for a couple events -- feel like we should give them time to figure it out. That being said having ads inbetween rounds during the main card needs to stop. It totally disrupts/prevents the viewer from getting into the flow of the fight.

Ads during any part of the main event was the most, and perhaps only, egregious thing from my pov.

You're gonna cut the corner audio out in a relatively close main event? C'mon now.

The run time was bad, could be better. I'll give them a pass on that because of the relatively last minute cancellations of some fights and the first ever nature of the broadcast.

Starting an hour earlier to end roughly the same time ain't good.

It was just another reminder to not watch it live and wait for the recorded fights the day after (here I get the fights in the middle of the night). So many ads that I couldn't really tell what the fillers were: the ads or the fights. Then again, I am not paying, so I can't complain much.

For the most part it was the same production, instead of filler they went heavy with the ads, a bit much but meh.

The entire thing was an abomination.

Presentation was pathetic, fights were pathetic.

MMA is evolving.

I wathced it illegally online today, so was skipping through the bumpf anyway - but I didn't like the way you didn't get the corner discussions in between rounds for most of the card, replaced by fucking ad breaks.
Watch the Star/Verum releases they are from Fight Pass/PPV and don't show the commercials like Paramount.

All you motherfuckers 🛑 the fucking 🧢

Practically nobody in here talking all this good shit will actually stop watching, most of you were crying about the 6 week break. The need to bitch about something from this fanbase is never ceasing

See everyone in a week or 2, tops lol

I didn't notice much of a difference. The interface was about the same as ESPN's, except it had that annoying dropdown menu that would randomly cover half the stream. Pretty cool not to have to pay for PPVs though. The other stuff like terrible pacing and an abundance of commercials was just UFC being UFC.

Felt like I was watching the NFL, and not in a good way. Overly slick production giving things a cheesy feel. *Almost* made me want to go back to PPV. But I guess this was the end vision all along - to make MMA into just another broadcast sport.

Slightly more verbal ads, about the same commercials as the UK broadcasts you somes get online instead of US ones.

Damn you guys are fickle... finally the end of the PPV era and you're pissed about adds?

Aside from a couple hiccups, I was happy with the product... definitely room for improvement, but people are gonna bitch just to bitch at some point.
You will get what you are given and be happy about it.
Nah, fuck that.
Im going to listen to some some Blink 182, punch some walls in my room, and call my mom to tell her how bad my childhood was.

Welcome to the paramount era how did you guys like it
Jumped in at around 9:00 P.M. when the main card started. Audio guys and the crowd camera crew were all over a bit.

That's not too uncommon for the UFC, but yeah considering how big a deal they made it out to be going to Paramount they should of tried to up the production value. The main card was decent, Justin/Paddy was great, Sean/Yadong was a cool competitive bout and Allen/Silva was solid as well.
