Crocop just got dizzy from following people around in circles was allRemember when all yall be making excuses for cro cop and gomi losing bc it was in a cage
Yeah. Rampage was probably earlier.Same with Rampage i believe?

He also had a lot of miles and injuries at that point. Its just too bad he was unprepared for the rules differences and fell off so bad.
This.Mirko should have been fighting Couture for the UFC Heavyweight Championship after the fight with Sanchez it never made sense to me why he had to face Gonzaga.

He was signed to a star contract, and then his stock dropped.
He also had a lot of miles and injuries at that point.
Fighting is like the stock market. It flucturate.

I know for a fact, since i'm from Croatia close to his gym and know couple of guys, (however never met Mirko), he made 1.3 million USD when he fought Frank Mir in main event at UFC 119, he got PPV cut. Not sure if he got PPV for any other events but it's very possible, he has plenty of money.
Also i wish i wasn't lazy to translate this, it would be clear how much money Fertita gave him. Lorenzo flew in with a private jet to his house for a dinner, that tells everything.
Wow that's some gangster shit lol Never heard that beforeI know it wasn't the UFC, but Cro Cop held up the promoters before the Shockwave show against Sakuraba when he saw how many fans were in attendance. I think he asked for and received 50-100K more to go out and fight. Talk about having the promoter bent over a barrel.
Agreed -- we didn't get to see him in his prime in the UFC, but he was a star in Pride and still had some very memorable fights under the Zuffa banner. He was in many wars.He deserves it. Cro Cop did not need to thrashtalk or wearing tattoos all over his body. He just fought.
More Cro Cop and less Masvidal
Very well put -- seems like he would be a neat guy to hang out with as well. Like, he seems like he is a closet jokester with a good sense of humor hahaYeah.. Mirko is very wealthy and he deserves it.
He dedicated his life to combat sports. 86 amateur boxing fights.. 34 pro kickboxing fights and 52 MMA fights and at 48 is in terrific shape, still training and giving seminars.
He is a very very passionate individual. I bet he would have done the same thing if there was little to no money on it.
Mirko is one of those few guys that actually inspire me.
I tend to agree -- I feel that his prime days were when he won the open weight Pride GP against Barnett (albeit an exhausted Barnett that had just gone to war against Big Nog), Wanderlei Silva, etc. He was in phenomenal shape and his defensive wrestling and stamina was on point, plus he didn't have an issue with his breathing (deviated septum or whatever). He had a decent career after Pride, but I feel that by the time he got to the UFC, as you describe, he had a bit too much damage from all of his competition.Mirko Cro Cop had a lot of miles, in MMA he was 22-4-2 when he signed for the UFC and he was an elite K1 kickboxer before and even during his MMA career fighting Aerts, Hoost, Hug, Hunt, LeBanner, Bonjasky etc in their primes, beating most of them. So he was Also 19-6 at the K1 level before signing with the UFC too. Then you gotta consider his amateur boxing background where he competed at high levels he was Croatian national champion, a Mediterranean Games Bronze Medalist and represented Croatia at the 1997 world games.
Think about this...Yeah he was only 32 when he signed to the UFC but the guy had more high level fights than NGannou and Stipe Miocic combined at that point. I don't think it was the rules change, shit just catches up to you.
They look pretty stupid in most cases, imo.Tattoos are a bad thing on fighters? Lol
Why are so many basement dwelling sherdoggers obsessed with how much money other people make????
NGL tattoos look pretty nasty.Tattoos are a bad thing on fighters? Lol
Especially when they get Asian characters that look like they were written by a 5 year old. They look pretty stupid in most cases, imo.
Hogan claims to have beaten up pride fighters in the 70s
