Looking at their careers: Analytically, Fedor's career is better.

Nog has the better resume, unquestionable, but he was never dominant or the best in the world for years and years like Fedor was, and Fedor whupped him twice when they were both at their peaks

It's hard to rank Nog over Fedor all-time when at their time Fedor was so much better, but Nog is a solid and secure #2

Same thoughts here.
Big Nog was huge (haha) but Fedor beat him twice and had a longer reign, I thought it was pretty straightforward?

Fedor destroyed Nog when they fought and had countless other wins. Yes, Big Nogs resume in mma is amongst the best but he was clearly not the best HW in that era.
