Crime Minnesota school shooting at catholic school

Off-topic. Has anyone been in a school shooting? I have twice and it was in middle school and college. In middle school it was gang related and a sitting next to me was shot on her right hand.
In the college, it was some wacko that wasn't a student and ended up killing like five people with a AR-15 and the cops showed up, and smoked his ass.

In middle school one of the dudes I was friends with on the football team started getting weird after one summer. Not sure what happened, but he went from "jock buddy type" to "black leather jacket in 90 degree weather type" over literally one summer. So we weren't as cool anymore with each other but would still say hi and quick small talk when we saw each other.

Towards the end of that year a few of the people from school saw him sitting atop this hill that used to lead down to the left of the school. Dude had a large bag staking the school out, so someone called the police and he had a rifle in there and was about to shoot everyone and got tackled before he could. It was wild.

There has been far more than 178 mass shootings in America since 1966. Of course the definition of that has likely changed over the years but there were upwards of 600 each of the last 4 years in the USA. Still wanna delve into the skin colour by mental health problem side of this discussion?
