Making a rule that trans people can't get guns is stupid. How many of mass shootings have been done by trans people? And when I say mass shootings, I mean these type of shootings where soft targets are chosen like schools and public places. The right want to latch onto the trans part because they enjoy hating on that group of people.

We all know if they try to implement a law that required a psychiatric evaluation to get certain/all guns that the right and 2A crowd would collectively lose their minds. I am a gun owner and shoot more often than most. I personally would be fine if I had to get some sort of advanced license to own my firearms. One that would require some sort of psychiatric evaluation and deeper background check. Part of that I have already done since I own NFA items.

Equally, he clearly had some issues with Christianity - the Satanic symbols on the magazines, shooting at a picture of Jesus - so he could have just done some research on likely targets. The school probably has information on it's website about daily activities like Mass.
