News Minner fight is under investigation

You can’t watch the ufc for more than a few mins without them referencing gambling. They always used to talk about how anik was a big gambler.

fighters are sponsored by draft kings and give picks for cards.

It should only be a problem if you’re betting against your fighter.

i know they made the rule not along ago and lines always move close to fights

the fight did look odd. I have no idea what the extent of miners injury is.

and i would “bet” nothing comes of this.
This is different. Krause has direct access to fighters in fights. That fight wasn't very convincing and big bets on a low level fight like that is going to draw attention, especially with how it ended. Big bets in big name fights and main event fights don't draw much suspicion because people usually bet big on those fights. That whole fight just seems fishy and with huge bets coming just makes it smell even more fishy.

Plus Krause setting up gambling accounts for people lol. If that's true, just LOL on that.

James Krause might just be a dumbass. Know him through a nutritionist friend and seems friendly enough, but might be doing some shady shit. Not to say others don’t do this, but Krause doesn’t seem to be covering his tracks well…….. hope none of these bets are on his name or anyone close to him…..

Why did he throw a kick with his left if he was “absolutely injured?” I don’t doubt he was injured. But he either has the worst fight I.Q. ever or who the fuck knows….
If you are injured and you have to kick. You kick with the injured leg because you are not putting weight on it and you can pivot on the "good" leg. It's still not wise but you can still get the kick out. If your knees are really fucked; most likely you can't even throw hard punch either.

Genuine question: How stupid is James Krause?

It feels like in the last couple of events, Krause has intentionally tried to prove that he's the dumbest coach/bettor in UFC history.

Not only was he shouting at his own fighter (Mana Martinez) between rounds in a silent Apex that he was throwing away rounds (he was obviously 2-0 up - Mana ended up winning a split decision in a fight that was pretty easy to call), but the week AFTER the TJ Dillashaw fall out (shoulder injury), he sends his own fighter out with an obvious injury (Minner) AND the lines implode on the final day?

I'm glad Krause is being investigated: and pending the outcome, may I just say, James Krause, you are one dumb SOB. Trying to act like the rules on insider betting doesn't affect you in the now widely published Discord chat makes you dumber still... you deserve what's coming, kid.
There may also be a pattern. With all these high numbers of random freak injuries in fights. They may want to check in with all of that as well. I wonder what the betting was in TJ's fight. Inside information betting and anyone with inside information is typically not allowed to bet but they may have a hard time trying to prove that with every big bet. Plus what if they weren't given information, just said something to the likes of "This may be a good bet, or you may want to bet on this person." Something to that extent where no real information is given. Either way, let's see how this plays out. I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened. There are always fights with fishy outcomes, especially the ones with random injuries. Pico shoulder injury, TJ shoulder injury with their fights close together and they are known teammates. Both dislocated their shoulder in the fight and tried popping it back in-between rounds.

Also it seems like this is just some independent research firm, they don't have any enforcement power. This crossing state lines would probably require a lot more agencies to be involved since it seems like a lot of the betting sites saw an in-flux of unusual bets a few hours before the fight.
"U.S. Integrity does not have any enforcement power, which means any response to the firm's investigation would have to come from regulators or other authorities."

Either way anyone really looking into this would probably put the focus on Krause who's making all these bets for himself, for other people, and making huge profits from betting. Plus it just so happens to be a fighter that he is cornering/coaching so he would be privy to information that would affect the betting lines like it did. Also if you are injured, you typically try to fight avoiding your injury, not throw 2 hard kicks right away with a messed-up knee. So hmmmmMMmmMmmm..... lol.

Too many damn coincidences. Huge money comes in on Shayilan at the last minute. Then Minner, a wrestler/ground specialist, throws 2 consecutive kicks with a clearly injured leg and turtles within 30 seconds. At the very least there's a leak about a serious injury. This is a terrible look for the UFC, especially after the Dillashaw debacle.

That triple head bob before the flying knee by Minner looks weird. Didn't see the fight live though.

It's also weird that the first kick doesn't even look like it hits anything besides arm. No real impact to cause an injury.
I think they showed from another angle that Minner's toes connected with Nuerdanbieke's hip.

He bobs/drops after he throws the first kick too. Was he reacting to feints? What am I seeing here? Did you see it live?

Super fucking weird sequence there for sure. Who the fuck immediately throws another hard kick after their leg appears to buckle. And the head bobbing definitely looks like he's inviting some shots.

Really hoping this is just a weird ass series of events and not something nefarious.

Unfortunately I did not. I don't know what he's doing there. But that second kick make no sense whatsoever for any reason. The head bobs seem to be almost inviting that knee which he also has his guard up for before he goes down.

Well at least it will push them to do better pre fight medical checks because theirs been way to many severely injured fighters sneaking through and still fighting.

Was wondering how Krause has such a sicc whip. Guess this news explains it well lol
