LOL You actually think people stay because they know they don't have to pay for rescue? No offense, but that's bizarre. They stay because they hear the warnings 2-3 per year their entire lives, but only rarely do they actually experience these storms hitting where they live. And most of the time, it's not as bad as the warnings. So to them it's a huge disruption to their lives for nothing, but it's a gamble every time.It might sound callous but if governments decided to charge people the cost of any rescue, should they need it, i think that would be fair.
Many people, i think stay, because they know it is others who pay for their rescue costs so they are ok with that gamble. If they had to pay, many more might leave.
I think they make the 'gamble' you speak of, in part, because they know others and not them will bear the cost of their rescue, should it need to be done.LOL You actually think people stay because they know they don't have to pay for rescue? Next do a fat tax!It might sound callous but if governments decided to charge people the cost of any rescue, should they need it, i think that would be fair.

I see nothing wrong with asking people to pay a higher insurance rate, if they willfully engage in activity that leads to more risk to an insurance pool. You want to skydive, fine but your insurance may cost more or you might get disqualified. But in a free country you need to allow it. Freer markets should also be allowed to price it otherwise you shift the cost to others. If a person is obese and the Dr says it is not due to health issues and is only due to poor habits then them paying a healthcare premium, would be more than fair, imo.Next do a fat tax!
I wonder how this logic operates in your vision of American healthcare…
Much love sir, I hope Milton hits like a bitch brother. This literally feels like I am waiting to fight a dude.
Like I already planned to fight a guy at the end of school tomorrow and I’m waiting for the moment, that’s almost exactly how this feels.
Wish me luck, Godspeed ladies and gentleman, fellow sherdoggers. Pray for my people and my animals and my home. I might be over reacting I don’t know I guess we’ll find out.
Put em in the house so they can all take flight together sir. What are going to do with the emu and other critters?
Au revoir!Put em in the house so they can all take flight together sir.
hasta luegoAu revoir!
I guess you don't know about them. It's one of those hurricane proof "dome houses." It's literally designed to withstand cat 5 hurricanes. Wouldn't go anywhere. Every house in Florida should basically be designed like that, instead of the endless cycle of house gets destroyed -> rebuild, house gets destroyed -> rebuild, etc.
Honestly I'd take your Emu to the nearest good pub/bar have a nice cold pint and wait for all this to blow over. Like this guy was doing
