Pjs are legit, they have to plug in anywhere be good at trauma med and recovery. Lots of qualifications to keep up for them. The guard units do some crazy stuff, mountain rescues, water rescues, go to Thailand and save kids.
Pjs controllers and TACPs all share an indoc now, at least part of one.
In another life i would have gone PJ.
I had a couple of buddies who were former PJ's. They had to cross-train out of the career field because of injuries, but they said as soon as they were good to go, they were going right back to it.
