Social Military Helicopter collides with American Airlines flight over Washington DC.

Man, the people who are trying look for conspiracies in the life of the female Blackhawk pilot don't know enough about how the world works to have a right to be skeptical about anything.

Thinking that it's weird that someone is a captain six years in at age 28 is hilarious. Promotion to captain is basically automatic for an officer in 3-4 years depending on the branch unless they have some kind of extreme issue relating to competence or misconduct.

Also, her house is tiny and cheap for the market that she lived in. She was entitled to a guaranteed home loan and had a housing allowance.

Literally none of this is suspicious.

how out of touch w/ the housing market do you have to be to imply a $500k home is some sort of extravagant mansion.

I liked conspiracies better when we didn't have half of Twitter rattling off nonsense after every major event

This shit is lame now.

In order for people to conspire, there has to be a goal. What the hell was the goal of wrecking into an airliner carrying figure skaters?

Rant over

Trump’s chosen Health Czar is a brain worm ridden psycho who eats roadkill and may or may not have driven his drug addicted, alcoholic wife to hang herself, but his fan girls think that’s cool, and instead are twisting themselves in knots to find some way to pin this accident on the “DEI” boogeyman. It’s been amazing to watch. I’m waiting for Rod Serling to start narrating this shit in my head.

Bro. Its healthy to get off the internet once in awhile. Its rotting your brain.

Women shouldnt be allowed to fly shit. They can barely drive. 99% of em cant even parallel park

You're right, I was referencing this person:

Who was ultimately rejected.

The initiatives are real however:

And rejecting truly qualified candidates as a result of those in8tiatives is real too:

There's no way to spin it in any way that doesn't indicate that DEI played a role.

The internet has allowed so many people to just lazily search for whatever bullshit they believe in, find a shit source, and then use it as definitive proof to say the most ignorant shit imaginable.
It really is amazing to see how similar Trump's brain works to his supporters--you read a headline of an article, and then just believe it with no further questions...and then just rattle on with stuff you have no proof of.

The FAA's so called push to include hiring people with "intellectual and physical disabilities" has been on their website since 2013. It was on their website during Trump's first term. What was on the website doesn't even matter---what was the reality of what happened?

Do you think they hired blind, deaf, and epileptic air traffic controllers? For those disabled that were hired, what jobs were they hired for?
I'm pretty sure the Federal Aviation Administration has low level jobs that need to be done. The janitors at Google headquarters probably don't need MiT degrees.

FAA Provides Aviation Careers to People with Disabilities

Thursday, April 11, 2019
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) today announced a pilot program to help prepare people with disabilities for careers in air traffic operations.

A key focus for the FAA’s Office of Civil Rights is to identify specific opportunities for people with targeted disabilities, empower them and facilitate their entry into a more diverse and inclusive workforce.

The FAA will enroll up to 20 people in the Aviation Development Program. They will train for up to one year at 10 Air Route Traffic Control Centers throughout the U.S. The following facilities will participate in the pilot: Minneapolis, Minn., Cleveland, Ohio, Boston, Mass., Denver, Colo., Fort Worth, Texas, Jacksonville, Fla., Seattle, Wash., Memphis, Tenn., Kansas City, Kan., and Salt Lake City, Utah.

The candidates in this program will receive the same rigorous consideration in terms of aptitude, medical and security qualifications as those individuals considered for a standard public opening for air traffic controller jobs. Participants in the program will receive up to one year of experience in an Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) with the potential to be appointed to a temporary ATCS position at the FAA Academy.

Candidates for the Aviation Development Program must meet the following criteria:

Whatever job people hired on were given, they had the same training as anyone else hired, and they had to pass the same tests.

The problem with this DEI bullshit is that there is this really stupid assumption that if you simply have the right skin color or pronoun you get a job.
If Brigida is able to prove that he wasn't hired because he was white, I'd like to see that evidence. But there's a difference between saying "White guys can't have this job" and, "We want to bring attention to these government jobs to people from all walks of life". The latter doesn't mean hire unqualified people.
What ends up happening often these days is you lot work backwards to try and fit the story with your political narrative. "She's a woman and she's a lesbian.......DEI".
Purely based on stereotypes here, I'd wager that a lesbian that joined the military is probably the exact type of woman that would be drawn to want to fly helicopters, and thus would pursue the training, just like any other person that was interested in that career path would have.
