If only women in the military actually looked like this.Make America great again!

What radioactive waste were you handling? In 2002 dollars, 60k isn't enough for me to murder brown people, carry radioactive waste barehanded, and come home to the garbage I saw at my local VA as a medic. Never ever.
I am not saying I don't have a price. I have a number for which I'll put a missile on a wedding with my own finger. 60k ain't it though.

What did you mean? Congress?
Also they were offering 60k to new recruits the beginning of this year. That blows my mind that they couldn’t meet quota
It's a bonus. 60k on top of pay is a lot60k for what exactly? A 6 year enlistment? 10k a year isn't alot of money.
Yep. No point in joining for the benefits if the benefits don't actually go that far. They'll cover most of it, but not all.
My old boss was an army ranger (actual 75th Regiment). He fucked up his shoulders during his service and VA refused to pay for his care saying it wasn't occupational. Good thing he had a great paying consultant gig to actually pay for surgeries and medications. You can guess how supportive he is when people ask him about joining the military.
If Uncle Sam constantly fucks current or retire members of the military, why would people want to join? Nobody gets a job so they can get shit on.
It's a bonus. 60k on top of pay is a lot
We're fucked, the weakest most manipulated and emotional generations are supposed to defend and progress this country? All while we're being destroyed by the entities we expect to have our best interests as a priority...
One way to increase military recruitment is to have some sort of "unifying" event...
Depends from tax man...It's a bonus. 60k on top of pay is a lot
It's about more than Congress though. It's all the way down the line. When I was more politically active, it was always what the party was looking for before running someone. Education or military experience. Those things resonate with voters and with good reason.Presumably the same pool of applicants we already work with, so to speak? It's not like congress is full of academic scholarships from Harvard and people who enlisted in the military for a full career.
Blackwater/Academi/Constellis will not hire you to be a soldier unless you already were in the militaryWhy would they want to join the military when Blackwater pays more?
