You might think they're pointless MMA discussions, but it highlights how much effort you put into thinking critically, analyzing, problem solving, your own potential for pattern recognition and connecting the dots, all of which are the foundation of intelligence.


I don't defend anyone as much as I play devils advocate and understand that to understand humans on a multi faceted, soul level, requires more than shallow, black and white thinking. I also understand that people are more than can be defined by just their mistakes and are a combination of the good, bad, ugly and all things in between. There's a lot of nuance and grey area to truly analyzing and understanding anyone, especially someone like Jon Jones. I simply viewed the way you think and analyze character to be very primitive. It doesn't mean I love Jones, or even care that much, he's just an example of a polarizing figure where people are fueled by emotion, rather than reason, where most seldmomly consider the larger picture of things or how complicated understanding people in any meaningful way actually is.

People expose themselves in every moment. The way you think, act, carry yourself. How you solve problems, your capacity for reason or thinking outside the box.

You don't see the value in putting effort into how you speak and put together ideas, but as I've said, how you do one thing is how you do everything. Everything you do here is being carried into every other aspect of life, you simply lack the self awareness to see it.

You see me as "defending Jon" but as I've said from the beginning, what I say applies to a multitude of figures within entertainment.
