Mike slapped Jake @ weigh-in

Jake looks way too fkn beefy lately.

I actually do think he might be taking something now, he's growing in size and frame too much. And there's probably a silent agreement to let Mike take shit due to his age maybe TRT too. Because Mike Perry said he wasn't drug tested for their fight.
he looks soft to me. fat has rarely helped boxers. Heavyweights throughout history have rarely been ripped to shreds like the lower division guys but before the recent eras, not too many soft or flabby heavyweights. They seemed to have just enough extra flesh to add some weight and strength without letting it hurt them. That was the old days. Now, Tyson Fury comes in at close to 300 and lots of guys come in too heavy. I don't think it's good in any way really.

Mike's in crazy fkn shape for 58. Looks even better than 20 years ago.

His traps look suspisciously huge.

I wonder if they've let him use TRT or something for this.
he's 8 pounds lighter than he was for the lennox lewis fight, that's a good thing. And his best weight was around 215-218 so ten pounds over that for a man his age is amazing. Foreman never did it.

Not impressed by the speed or strength of that slap.

Didn't even phase Jake.
He seemed hyped afterward, as if saying 'thats all you got?'

Reminded me of the weigh-ins & faceoff between Wandy/Rampage3.
mike had him staring at his own ass.

I'm not betting shit, unless you let me borrow 20 bucks, i'll pay you back after he wins.
Boxing dinosaurs haven't exactly fared well lately against their much younger & fresher counterparts. Holyfield got blown out early by Belfort and Roy got outboxed by Anthony Pettis ffs. Pettis is an MMA fighter that never had good hands. He was known only for his kicks and slick submissions. Then we went on to lose his next boxing match to Chris Avila who was just 5-1. I would drastically lower my expectations for Mike. Just saying.

Roy can hardly walk though.

Definitely a harder slap than Will Smith's at the Oscars. Consider than Jake Paul is not only younger, bigger and sturdier than Chris Rock, but also had a better stance and positioning to take a slap.
Technically the difference being that Mike shortened it while Will lengthend his arm. But if Mike threw it like that, Jake would have seen it coming.

Neither can Mike. He has several health conditions. Sciatica pain, ulcers, etc.

ulcers? let him take some doams or whatever that shit is, he's fine. Just roll him to the ring, he'll be alright.
Remember when this fight initially had to be rescheduled? It was because Mike's ulcer flared up. He's in bad shape. Don't be fooled by his physique. He was done 20 years ago. After the McBride loss he even admitted that he didn't have the stomach for fighting anymore. This will be his first real sanctioned fight since that loss.

Mike's gonna knock that boy out. all us boxing people want to see that and of course we're biased. Jake doesn't belong in the sport at least not at the pay he's getting. Lots of better guys fighting for a lot less.

I'd love for Mike to win but let's be objective here. Can Mike push himself for 16 minutes at such an advanced age? He's 31 years older than Jake with tons of wear & tear on him. On top of it he has two decades of ring rust excluding a few exhibitions since he retired in 2005. Medical issues as well.

The harsh reality is that Jake Paul will probably KO him. Nobody pushing 60 is going to retain their durability. Their punch resistance will be poor. I believe that Jake hits hard enough to capitalize on it. Does reducing the rounds to only 2 minutes and using 14 ounce gloves change anything? We'll see.

I don't get how people believe Mike is winning this. 57

Such a depressing event. Paul potentially killing off many Boxing fans fond memories of of a once-vicious Tyson if he starches him.

And the rematch to the best Women's Boxing fight ever (and one of the best boxing matches in recent years) playing second fiddle to this farce of a main event.

Yeah after the Woodley fight I can't trust any of this...
it's just crazy how hard it is to figure if this will be a real fight or not. No one seems to really know. Kinda like the old days when fight fixing was everywhere.
