Lol threw the script in the trash. Cut taxes on the Elite and increased spending. First fucking thing he did.Might have something to do with Trump being a threat to their uni-party. It's not exactly shocking that the government has an ax to grind against someone who threw their script in the garbage...
Oh' yeah, Trump real bad guy. Here's what a bunch of government lifers/war criminals have to say about it...
ONe of his multiple businesses got fined 10 million for money laundering in 2015. He also ran a charity that he stole from.Sure, I will play your game since you know more about tariffs then a guy that ran multiple businesses and was president . Your skills > his I get it.
Tariffs taxes/duties on import and export by the gov. They are levied as a % of the value of the goods being exported and imported. its about trade relationships with other countries and can be based on value or quantity, or both.
I'm obviously going to research the very details that Trump did and here you go champ
Section 301 Tariffs on China: Trump initiated a trade war with China by imposing tariffs on billions of dollars' worth of Chinese imports under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974. These tariffs were implemented in response to concerns about China's unfair trade practices, including intellectual property theft, forced technology transfers, and subsidies to Chinese industries.
Section 232 Tariffs: Trump invoked Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports in 2018. The administration argued that these tariffs were necessary to protect national security interests by ensuring a stable and robust domestic steel and aluminum industry.
Bilateral Negotiations: Trump used tariffs as leverage in bilateral negotiations with trading partners, particularly China, Mexico, Canada, and the European Union. The administration sought to renegotiate trade deals and address perceived trade imbalances by threatening or imposing tariffs on imports from these countries.
Tariff Escalation: The Trump administration adopted a strategy of escalating tariffs in response to perceived lack of progress in trade negotiations or to retaliate against other countries' trade policies. This led to a series of tit-for-tat tariff increases between the United States and its trading partners, particularly China.
From what I saw, Trump's management of tariffs was a unilateral approach aimed at reshaping trade relationships and addressing perceived trade imbalances. However, the long-term effectiveness and impact of these tariffs on the global economy and trade relationships remain subject to debate and ongoing analysis. It's usually long term, but feel free to point me to a NPC answer.
So he invoked sections that were already around for decades, was touch on Canada, EU, Mexico and of course China.
I will take that over NAFTA, MFN ( Most favored nation status of China)
TTP Obamas Trans pacific partnership and Obamas failing to act on Steel and aluminum.

You know exactly who that guy is!
This doesn't matter to anyone but the 'vote blue no matter who' crowd.
The fact that "super conservative henchmen-like characters look at him with disdain and suspicion" gives me more reason to vote for him. Same goes with the established politicians on the left. Fuck all of those pieces of shit. Vote Trump just to piss them off.Just about every single person who has worked with Trump over the years and everyone that worked with him in the WH has pretty much said he's unfit in pretty much every measurable way... and there's still tens of millions of people who look past it. And we're talking about super conservative henchmen-like characters who now look at him with disdain and suspicion. Mind blowing... really speaks to the mental illness and self-immolating tribalism that afflicts a huge portion of the US.
Hyper partisanshipThere's no reason to ever vote red.
Some of us wish red would be better because that's the only thing that would ever force blue to be better, but you guys have fucked things up so badly blue doesn't have to do anything at all.
People like @Super_Nintendo don't care about the things the candidates have done, they look to the people who confirm their biases in speech even if those people's actions are contrary to their own values.Yea.. a real threat. Like when he let Peter Navarro get in bed with the steel industry so they could hurt small companies and rake in record profits. Or like when he installed his daughter in law as head of RNC so all fundraising can go straight to paying his legal bills. Or how the super-wealthy got record setting tax cuts, yet when COVID hit every business who wanted to get a PPP loan got one (a lot of them for free even). That REALLY helped the average taxpayer. In fact it helped so much retirement plans are now on the chopping block because for some reason there's no way to pay for them.
Who do you think you are fooling with this schtick?
It's a pretty serious choice, especially taking what you just said into consideration.
Trump did a shitload of damage in four years, and Biden has done his best to repair it. Conservatives will argue this isn't true, but they'll be wrong. It's the only important argument to have, though, and it isn't pathetic, it's critical.
I've said this before: a second term for Biden would be embarrassing. A second term for Trump would be catastrophic.
*several casinos. You're bragging about his business acumen despite his many bankruptcies and criminal issues. The man bankrupted a casino, do you have any idea how difficult that is?
Hyper partisanship![]()
*several casinos.
wha? Seriously? You don't even know who his vice president was?
Surely you can provide sources with that your saying. Trump tariffs so bad Biden is keeping them why is thatPredictable copy and paste ending in "results subject to debate", which they are not. The results are increased costs to American consumers and a pretty big hit to American businesses, who begged him not to implement the tariffs. The result was Trump forced to support American farmers with 30 billion dollars in place of lost trade with China, who simply responded with their own tariffs and purchased elsewhere.
Almost every claim Trump has made about tariffs and their effects has been publicly decried by the vast majority of industry economists who again, begged him not to do it. The increase in American manufacturing and industry Trump promised never happened, just like the factories he promised before he was elected never happened.
You've said how bad Trump is and how much you wish the GOP would move past him but you're always in his corner, spinning his lies. You're bragging about his business acumen despite his many bankruptcies and criminal issues. The man bankrupted a casino, do you have any idea how difficult that is?
The problem is MAGA is unreasonable and you even have run out middle of the road out of Congress because they dont want to deal with the MAGA morons. This doesn't matter to anyone but the 'vote blue no matter who' crowd.
I mostly see RINO applied to the war hawks and corporatist, but I do agree they should be running someone else. The problem is MAGA is unreasonable and you even have run out middle of the road out of Congress because they dont want to deal with the MAGA morons.
Also RINO only means those in the GOP that wont pledge loyalty to Trump. It is sad when those in their own party are not allowed to disagree with the guy at top.
This is why the GOP will not win a popular vote in national elections. MAGA has turned everyone off to the party. I bet Trump loses popular vote by over 10 million this time. That will mean Trump has lost by a total of 20 million votes in 3 elections. The funny part is the GOP did not figure out they could have ran anyone else to beat Ole Man Biden, but decided to cast their lot with the only dude Ole Man Biden can beat.
