Mighty Mouse vs Uncle Creepy I

Really?

Kid, Joe B and McCall II were very bland affairs and the Torres fight was spoiled by the terrible decision.

The Kid fight was a nice fight to watch just because you got to see the insane speed MM has when it comes to his TD

The only lackluster fight was Kid and it was still better than the rematch between Aurelio and Gomi.

MM v. Kid was sad to watch. Kid was so outclassed and couldn't do shit that entire fight. Wish they had these lighter divisions ages ago :(

Ok, thats your opinion.

Do you think their is an argument for a 10-8 in the 3rd?

Its not an opinion. Its a fact that he out struck him and rocked him the first round.

Also McCall didn't start dominating MM until about 2 or 3 minutes into the 3rd so it was a 10-9 for him. MM was doing well in the 3rd until he got taken down and mounted.

When you say McCall was rocked are you referring to when MM caught his leg and clocked him in the face and McCall did that mini stanky leg? If so, I don't think that McCall was rocked I think it was more of him being unbalanced. I am probably gonna rewatch the fight but iirc I had the fight scored:

Round 1: MM 10-9
Round 2: 10-10
Round 3: McCall 10-8

McCall got mount/back mount twice in the third round and he had that position for at least 2 minutes I think. And MM wasn't doing anything while mounted and McCall was close to getting a stoppage. Fight should have been a draw or to McCall imo.

I thought all the fights I listed were boring. And yes Gomi vs. Aurelio II was boring, but how many boring fights did Gomi really have after his Shooto run?

Even if McCall wasnt rocked he was still out struck and MM landed the better shots. As for the 3rd round. Like I said McCall didnt start dominating him until like 3 minutes in and MM was defend was defending well.

It was a close fight and could have gone either way, but saying McCall was robbed is just retarded.

Round 2 was a clear round for DJ.

No one can answer this question because McCall didn't win round one. Johnson took the first two rounds and McCall took the third. Should have been a 29-28 for Johnson or at worst Draw which it was. Doesn't matter because Johnson beats him in the rematch and beat him again.

People that think this fight was a robbery are idiots.

Sad how I had to wait a whole day for someone to acknowledge that post.

Ah well. Me and you share the same opinion on this matter.

I scored it 29-28 for MM, but if it went to a 4th then McCall would have won no doubt. Johnson gassed pretty bad before the third

McCall has no one but to blame himself. He should have worked harder for the finish instead of showboating.

Have not rewatched the fight but I know when I first saw it I thought it was a clear cut decision for uncle creepy. Hell even mighty mouse seemed so surprised he won that he jump 10 feet in the air.

People either really dislike MM or they really like McCall. Both fighters had two chances and MM made the better of it.

MM is the champ. Accept it. He even beat Joe B convincingly.

I had the fight scored as a draw or 29-28 MM.

No way McCall won round 1 or 2. McCall has no one to blame for losing but himself. At the end of round 3 he should have focused on finishing and not taunting/looking at the ref for a stoppage while applying weak GnP which is why I waver on scoring round 3 10-8 for McCall.

If the fight went to a 4th round that night McCall probably had it. A few months later Mighty Mouse improved and was to good for him in the rematch after getting adjusted to cutting to FLW and sharpening his skills.

Maybe if he didn't clown around at the end he could have gotten the finish.

He fucked up, they fought again, and Mighty Mouse won very decisively.

I had the first fight for MM but it was very close and could have gone either way. I was happy that the set up a rematch.

Somebody should make a poll and ask who won this fight.
