Unquestionably the GOAT of the lighter weights, and belongs in any P4P discussion.

GSP is always my guy, but he and DJ might be 1a and 1b when looking at the total package: for their amazing careers that included lengthy win streaks, dominance, and a string of title defenses; for competing clean; and for the way they have consistently conducted themselves inside and outside the cage/ring. Can you ask for better representatives for martial arts and MMA in terms of their combination of skill, performance, and character?

These are the types of people who young martial artists and fighters should emulate.

He's 5'3....he is closer to a strawweight than a bantamweight, though he probably would have been the UFC champ at one point at 135 if he stayed
