To be fair, I used to watch a fair bit of Guru a while after he first started on YouTube. I noticed the fast growth of the channel and decided to check out some clips and then his lives. I could understand the appeal at that time because his impressions were amusing and pretty good, but as time has gone on, I watched him less and less. But when I did tune in again from time to time I noticed he was going close to the line and sometimes crossing it with various impressions and opinions. So I think he initially started off doing impressions, livestreams, predictions, etc, but then eventually all the channel's growth has gone to his head and he's starting to go more and more OTT, especially to appease his fans who constantly donate money to him.

Well there certainly is a fanbase for unfiltered MMA commentary.

He def goes too far with it, which def alienates him from alot of people, but theres some that get into him JUST for that.


I think Mighty Mouse appreciated the guy's ballsy give no fucks attitude, but at some point, esp when it comes to the Dagestanis, he goes too far, and MM cant allow that to hurt his own content.

I dont think MM really cares, he knew what he was getting into when he started workin with him, just doesnt want to lose his own channel over it.

I don't know what it is about MMA media, but it brings the cringiest media personalities. So many seem to come with a stupid schtick. Only reason I liked Ariel was he seemed normal, but he ended up turning sensitive and preachy, then I tuned out. Maybe there's a huge WWE audience that makes up MMA fanbase and they have to win them over. Still, I remember when I started watching in 2005, the people covering MMA were more serious about it.
