Midlife crisis vehicle

Okay, let's narrow this down... How much are you willing to spend? How old of a car?
< 5k

the cheaper the better. I will flip whatever I get so the more meet on the bone the better. But i do want to have fun with it while I’m fixing/cleaning etc to flip.

Harleys...duh!
I said something fun, nobody wants to spend all their time fixing oil leaks...

I don’t need a “look at me “ Vehicle like most Harley douche owners are.

I’d get more enjoyment out of a clapped out ass 90’s cbr 900 with shredded fairings from side slidin’ that bish

then I’d paint it and sell it..

There I said it, was driving today for the first time in a LONG time where I was just listening to the radio and enjoying driving.
But wished I was driving something else, with some power.

Not really a midlife crisis want but noticed I’m missing something right now.

I’ve always had something fast , cars , bikes , boats etc and don’t have anything but my truck right now.

Sports car, Bike or get boat race ready again?
I’m leaning towards a car or a bike.

mustang, camaro etc.

Sometimes a nice rumble from some exhaust and some gears to row through can make a world of difference in your mood.:.

I have a civic si
Its not fast -its a fucking civic- but it is fun to drive
My midlife crisis buy is gonna be a supermoto bike

Thanks. That's the latest crisis vehicle, not even a month old yet. 2020 KTM 250 SX
I couldn't let my buddy hare scramble alone so.
I miss riding hare scrambles and enduros.

I don’t think my body could take it anymore

had an rmx 250 and a kdx 200,

i actually did better with my cr250, that I did some work on and put a moose flywheel on and fatty pipe etc. the “enduro” versions of bikes in the day never seemed to be as good as the strait MX ones when you modded yourself.

Im 47 and just bought a New Ford Mustang GT. The first Mustang body style I have liked in over 30 years. Still keep a 08 Honda Civic as my work beater car tho..

would this be clasified as a mid life crisis buy?

Yeah, now go put long tubes and 4.10’s in it so you can really enjoy it.

My old 90 rm250 was a screamer
Fatty gold series pipe and powercore silencer , boyesen rad valve and power reeds
Hit hard and i miss it

Completely different gear ratios and power bands. It's easier to get the MX and detune and swap sprockets than get a trail bike to MX performance. On the KTM it's as easy as pulling one wire loose from the map, the street bikes have three map settings on the bars.

And the ghost tune so it sounds like an old cammed up engine.
Three sets of tires in a year and I traded my '16 off for a Can Am Maverick X3.

Has to be the Vette.

Yea dude that is the official mid life crisis car. Whenever I see a vette I know im lookin at a dude that uses just for men and cialis and has 2 kids that he dont see no more

For that price Id recommended the best Camaro or Mustang you can find. At least parts are cheaper and they're easy to work on. I'd stick with a 98 or newer Camaro/Firebird/TA if you're going the GM route. On a side note, you might be able to find a beat up Turbo Regal for that much of you want a real project car.

I'd say a classic too Pre-'73... But for that price youll have to be prepared to dump a lot into body work (although the very used Turbo Regal could be a rust bucket)

Guess it really comes down to how much work you're willing to put into it.

I'd ridden that if they had one in stock. I'm curious as to how long of legs it has.
My original plan was to get a Beta 430 RR-S but I don't really need another street legal bike, I just wanted something I could hit single track harder than 650 pig can. Fourth of July weekend side-by-side riding at Walter's Ranch https://walters-ranch.com/ gave me the fever for a lighter bike again.

greatest tv series of all time and it's not even close.

I got mine this past May - dealers were not selling vehicles because of the lockdowns, shutdowns, etc so I picked up a Mustang GT PP1 (performance pack 1) - 7000 off of the original price and I got 0% financing (I also put down 9000 I had saved up from last year and this year for a trip). Midnight Black - pretty much every comfort (outside of active exhaust and magneride).

Pretty much like this

If I could afford it I would trade up for C8 Corvette (playing around on the website last night with configurations and it can get pricey.)
