It's West Virginia. I wouldn't expect any less.

It must aggravate the hell out of Trump that he has to rely on these yokels for his dose warm fuzzies, while being despised in Manhattan, haha.

You're not seriously writing this are you? That pleading guilty to a crime does not mean that crime occurred?

It is the plea that solidifies it as a crime. He didn't have to plead guilty to that crime. He could have pled to something else. He could have taken it to trial and forced them to prove it in court. But the point of the plea is to say "Yes, this is the crime that occurred and I am responsible for it."

For people who insisted that random news stories proved child porn rings in pizza shop basements and backroom deals to sell uranium without even charges being filed, I find it hilarious that we've now entered the "Even if they admit to a crime, it's not a crime," phase of using self-delusion as a form for self-preservation.
It's breathtaking

Maybe I’m not posting this correctly

This is my point. READ CAREFULLY

Because Cohen plead guilty to campaign violations does NOT mean what actually happened was indeed a violation. That was NOT settled or fought out. He simply plead guilty to it

Anyone who thinks because he plead guilty to this means it’s settled that what happened is a crime I believe will be VERY disappointed
I think you're trying to say just because he pled guilty doesn't mean if he'd taken his chances in the courtroom he would've been found guilty, which is true.

But he definitely pleaded guilty to a crime and then implicated Trump in that crime.

So the “influencing the election” part is about paying Stormy Daniels? Or is there something else?

You don't find any of the implications that Cohen made a bit alarming?

No. All were talking about are NDAs with former sex partners... That's not a crime. Also, Cohen is most likely under duress by a conflicted and compromised investigation.

Trump attempted to keep her quiet about their affair just before the election, so he wouldn't be found to be an adulterer. That would have cost him votes. At Trumps direction, he tried to influence the election, as Cohen said. That is certainly a crime.

Wondering what’s going to come of the judge’s obvious bias in the case..being openly hostile to the prosecution most certainly could influence a jury

This judge is unfit

What is the crime?
