Essentially no chance of that. They may lose seats, actually. The thing is, not everybody is up for reelection at the same time in our system; this cycle, the dems are on the line much more than the republicans. It's different this cycle in the House, where everyone is in the hot seat this year.

That's interesting. I was told the campaign season that we are supposed to celebrate any and all discoveries of wrongdoing, no matter how we find out about them. Has that changed? Are we suddenly supposed to care about why people are doing things again?

I didn't PRETEND anything. I had not seen that yet and the very first time I did see it, I said wow that's not good.

The payments were a violation of campaign finance law. You can argue that Trump didn't commit that crime, but you can't argue that the law isn't the law lol. He can't have done what Cohen indicates- and pled guilty to- without it being a crime.
