Maybe.
He had a mandate for two things.

1. Investigate whether Russia interfered in our election (universally acknowledged as having occurred, even by DJT ... sometimes) and how it was accomplished. This is also well known in the gross but not fine detail. Hopefully our man Bob can fill in the gaps. That seems likely to happen, at least to me.

2. Investigate whether anyone in the Trump campaign was a traitorous fuck seeking help from Russians to get dirt on another American presidential candidate. Now admitted to have happened by DJT himself.
I think Donny Moscow himself will skate, maybe a 40% or lower chance of him even receiving so much as a mild rebuke from his own party.

I see a much higher percentage that many around him will burn and there will be blood as various best people turn against higher ups to save themselves.

I think whether he skates or not is largely dependent on who controls the house after November. Since he is a president, it's basically only congress that has any real power to hold his feet to the fire. If the house flips democratic, then a lot more stuff would probably surface from the investigation. Nunes himself sounded worried about what would happens if the Republicans lost the house.

No, no. This is a very stable, very competent administration but the media only focuses on negative stories and pushing their liberal agenda. The search for the truth about what happened in the 2016 election is phony and should be stopped!

If he fills these roles with loyalists then our democracy is definitely in peril. This is just how Chavez did it in Venezuela. How many "Trumptards" are actually driving our economy and how many are just being catered to for votes? I know the ultra rich are on his side by they just make up the 1%. That isn't enough votes to win the presidency. It's the chumps he's conning, like the Trump University alumni, that are the root of his power. We'll always be a powerful country but how will its riches be divided? Will we have a minimum wage that allows independence or will all the profits go to the CEOs?

There's a lot of inferred evidence that strongly suggests to most folks who have no dog in the fight that there's a great deal of legal-definition line-riding going on and that if anything, Trump made the DC swamp enormously larger.
