Bought by Microsoft in the early 2000s and everything they released since has been shit.

Perhaps with the exception of the Killer Instinct remake.

Turning a studio into shit isn’t literally killing them, it’s just turning them to shit. EA actually kills of their studios on a concerning regular basis.

Talk about unexpected news. Bethesda's brand has taken a hit, but they're really only one good Elder Scrolls game away from being back in everyone's good graces.

MS has a legit collection of studios now. I'd love to see more games use id tech.

Damn that’s a pretty big W for Microsoft. Tbh though it doesn’t affect me much since I’m not a huge Bethesda games fan and if I do get their games I tend to get for the PC. For strictly console gamers though that seems like massive news

It’s a major get for MS but I also wasn’t a huge fan of their games. Dishonored is a big one for me though one of the few good stealth games. That’s what the PC is for though.

That's why all the Sony Ponies on these boards need to stfu. Also, all these "awesome Sony exclusives" are coming to PC too like Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Stranding and that new Spiderman game to name a few.

The thing with this purchase is there’s a little something for most gamers. I’m sure most of us like at least one of the games/series listed here:

for me personally I haven’t played Dishonored, the new Wolfensteins, Skyrim, Evil Within or Prey, but I love Doom and Fallout. Someone else might love Elder Scrolls. You like Dishonored. There’s a ton of potential here.

Nah, I’m sure the only two games I care about, Doom and TES, will come to PS5. I’ll be just fine.

But that’s several years away. I’ll be more than content playing Demon’s Souls, Ratchet and Clank, and Ragnarok, just to name a few, in the coming year.

Potential shots fired if The Elder Scrolls, Doom and Fallout franchises are kept exclusive to Microsoft. Starfield as well whenever the fuck that's coming. Still doesn't add much to their launch line up, though.
