She's said she is Buddhist in interviews (as many Thais are), but she's also said she's just spiritual and not hardcore into any religion. Perhaps that's changed and her husband has converted her to Christianity. He is from a Mexican background and they are very religious in general.

She has been known to go to a Thai temple to get blessed before a fight:

The only thing I'm gonna say is that the ONLY other time Waterson ever said "If it goes to the ground, I'm going to submit her." was when she fought Diana Rael... and she submitted her when Diana took it to the ground.

I think Tecia being a favorite is a riot. Michelle finished a much stronger Magana than the one Torres didn't finish and did MUCH less damage to.
