he had a great gameplan against barboza but that wasnt "smashing". It was Michael's best fight but I'd actually favor barboza in a rematch. edson has improved a lot since that fight.

LOL @ 3 years and 10 months ago. Why not just say "nearly 4 fucken years ago"? Talk about spin. It's a 4 year old fight when Ferguson was on no one's top 25, and it has absolutely no meaning in today's rankings, stop talking out of your ass.

And regardless of how you scored the Dariush fight, it was pretty even and Dariush just got tapped by a dude outside the top 10, and Johnson get smacked up by Nate Diaz who was barely a top 10... so ya Johnson is about on par with fringe top 10's like Dariush and Chiesa, just like I said.

Even if you want to play the game of "It's not rankings, it's matchups" - Do you truly and honestly believe that there are 4 or less fighters at LW that Barboza beats more often than they beat him? Johnson doesn't inherit Barboza's success since that fight just like Barboza doesn't inherit Johnson's losses since that fight.

So what do you consider a top LW then? He is 6th on the UFC website.
