Perry weighs close to 200. Mjw weighs around 225. They are close in height.

honestly Ts, you're looking kinda sensitive creating this topic. The way MJW talks about Martial arts and his approach is the way a martial artist is supposed to be. About learning, growth, exchanging of knowledge from one fighter to the other, etc.

Too bad MJW isn't the opposite. Perry seriously needs to get his fucking ass kicked... well more than he already does.

Uhh yeah Hardy has youth and even more athleticism on his side than MJW. That and size I dont get you there. I dont expect a 52cyear old to be beating anything but the absolute bottom of the barrel and those smaller in freakishow fights. Personally I cant stand Perry and feel it was a weak weak move to talk about beating up a non pro fighter get told to pull up and not do so. Same chump goes all Bruce Lee on weakling sloppy old men. So if there is bias I embrace that. Fuck Mike Perry.
 
All I know after reading way too many pages of this thread is I want to see this freakshow fight. Someone would get smashed bad and it would be hilarious.

MJW is a fucking beast as a striker and has sparred with countless elite MMA fighters, martial artists and boxers. He knows very well what these guys are capable of in a real fight.

If you're talking about pure striking, it's just an embarrassing mismatch and comical to even suggest someone like Perry would beat him.

if he used his grappling, then it becomes interesting. MJW is a black belt in Japanese jiu jitsu or whatever but it's likely that's his weak point. Perry is actually super strong and his jits is highly underrated. That's where he could make it a fight, potentially.

outside of that though, Perry would get embarrassed and easily.

True, because 20 lbs advantage over Perry doesn't make up for MJW's lack of actual fight experience, lack of cardio (MJW trains to look good on film, not functional), lack of years of hard sparring, lack of having to fight someone who is trying to take your head off.
