Media Michael Chandler's gameplan on Dan Hooker: 'Wear him down'

let's be honest: this fight will be Chandler humping Hooker, or Hooker lighting Chandler up on the feet. Hooker has hasn't really had to deal with a blanket ever that I can think of, so it's hard to say how he'll hold up.

Either way I have low expectations of Chandler. Easy to be the king on earth. He's in Asgard now.

If you guys don't watch bellator, can you not just keep your opinions to yourself instead of being ignorant douches by acting like you know what you're talking about?

Chandler isn't some bum they're bringing in like CM Punk or something. But I forget the majority of this forum consists of UFC shills who refuse to watch other MMA, and instead choose to back a promotion over a fighter...

Plenty of youtube videos out there, why not educate yourself on who someone is before you shit all over them?

So is Chandler, he's been a great 3 round fighter. His cardio only seems to suffer in 5 rounders. He pushed hard against Benson, so I think his cardio will last 3 rounds unless he carelessly takes too much damage. But that goes for anyone and everyone. Too much damage will kill the cardio of any fighter out there.

Again I'm going to say this : Dan Hooker is an under-rated fighter. The dude is frigging dangerous.
He has striking, he has subs, he has bigtime cardio.
-- You really gotta be a very very strong 155lb fighter at an elite level to beat Hooker.

Yes I know, this is Chandler, but..... I got Hooker by whatever Kiwi-shit he wants......
I can see a KO, I can see a sub, I can see a blood-fest UD, all for Hooker.
 
Chandler has picked a tough fight and is going to feel the skill gap between the UFC top guys and Bellator. Everyone can look at a Chandler highlight reel and pretend he is good but that was against B-grade talent or past-prime A grade guys.
His best win by FAR is Eddy in 2011 and he since lost to him again.
Benson win is too past prime to be meaningful.
Subbing Macin pretty tight also.

But really he doesn't deserve to be ranked at LW in the UFC

No doubt does he have the skills to do this to Hooker but can he really survive every round without getting tagged? I don’t know. Hooker isn’t a notorious KO artist but Chandler is old and chinny. I think there’s a good chance he gets caught or fails a USADA test..

In 5, I’d bet on Mike. 3? No.

What had you convinced he's on something? Just curious. Can't be epo because he gasses.

I think he's a genetic freak but wouldn't be surprised if he's doping

Chandler has to take him down and KEEP him down. Let’s not forget that hooker is a savage n will keep coming forward no matter how exhausted he is, just ask Edson barboza.

but regardless, I love Chandler but the dude gets rocked in almost every fight. I think one well placed punch from hooker lays him out cold.
 
If Hooker is anything, he is tough. He took a brutal beating from Barboza, which was prolonged because he was so tough. And the Porrier fight, Hooker was a tough SOB. If glass canon Chandler is thinking he is going to be the one wearing Hooker down, he has another thing coming.

- I think Chandler has bitten off more than he can chew with Dan Hooker.

I don’t want to throw too many accusations out there but he’s older and still a specimen. The eye test mostly but also fighting with Bellator which has lesser testing.

i wish everyone was on EPO
