Michael Bisping to Al Iaquinta "Dont bite the hand that feeds you"

Iaquinta doesn't need UFC. He can go to Bellator or Rizin or live his life as a realtor making more money than he would fighting.

Could*, i guess he is still under contract and they will not cut him as punishment.

I'm so shocked!
Between Bisping and Serra, the UFC sure knows how to make sure the most undeserved title holders in history are rewarded with additional TV airtime and TV gigs to continue spewing their propaganda.

He feeds himself with his real career. He doesn't need the UFC Al can go fight for other organizations and probably make more doing so.

Ahh, the #1 company guy who gets to pick his own retired fighters to fight when and where he wants doesn't think people should criticize Uncle Dana... Big surprise there.

Whats the worst that could happen? Either they cut him and hes free to go to Bellator and make more money with sponsors or they keep him and he can choose to either fight again or just stay in real estate and no more eating punches for low pay.

A lot of people are saying that fighters can make more if they leave the UFC and fight for another org.
If this was actually true, wouldn't we be seeing a mass exodus out of the UFC?
Not everyone's contracts expire at the same time do they?

Would I like to see the fighters as a whole make more money? Fuck yes, but at the end of the day, they made their choice to sign for the money they are getting paid.

I don't blame Al or any other fighter for wanting to get paid more to fight, but the bitching is getting tiresome. Fight or don't, but shut the fuck up already.

Says that Iaquinta does not get to control post-fight win bonuses and that he shouldnt be as raging as he is with the UFC pay. Also thinks he was drunk when he told Dana off

the UFC should not have taken away his ability to get that bonus. If you listen to the story as to why it happened, obv, I've only heard his side, but it seems like the UFC brass are just being dicks in this situation.

Most realtors are out of the business within 2 years.

He's back in the UFC 2 years later.

You do the math on how well his real estate career is going.

Different stuff Bisping you were the spear head into UK a place were UFC was thinking they could milk some money from TV deals so from the few decent guys they found you.

Al is working with 26/26k while you had an average of what ? 300k/300k.

Now you struck gold with the big brain fart of Luke and you are destroying the MW division for years already and years to come since GSP will continue the circus.

Then he should do that. If he's being horribly mistreated and held back then he needs to go wherever he will be treated better.
He just did that for 2 years. Hes a fighter at heart and will always have that passion though.

A brash New York realtor who likes to bite the hand that feeds him. Who knows what his prospects will be in 40 years.

He has the right temperament to be Trump's new press secretary after Spicer is canned. That's where he'll get his start.

Y, easy for Bisping to say, as he's been paid well, but that's not the case for Iaquinta or most UFC fighters. Pretty shitty for a highly profitable and highly injurious sport, whose athletes have no collective leverage. If no one says anything, nothing's gonna change. And as Al is saying, he has other, less glamorous options that don't involved getting your head caved in.

Jesus Christ.

The entire point is that Al is not biting the hand that feeds him, and that's why he's biting them....

yikes... he signed it lol
its what the ufc offered. Im sure he asked for more and got declined. its unfortunate when he had back 2 back knockout wins over ross pearson and joe lauzon who are on 52/52k contracts. Al should get at least 35/35k minimum.
