Media Michael Bisping has a message to Sherdog's recent article about him

I doubt he posts or participates in the forums anymore but shitty website or not he obviously reads and checks Sherdog on the regular

He got the fighter bashing shit posting "article" sent to him on twitter, hence his tweet.
 
It's true. This website feels like a sanitary sewer main with shit flowing in from all directions. One massive steaming pile of raw sewage.

If Bisping is this animated about an article on Sherdog's main site, he's CLEARLY reading this thread at some point - so I want to make sure he hears my apology.

I absolutely hated him when he first started. I still harbored a lot of the tribal allegiances from the early days of MMA and would always pull for the wrestlers (and predominately although not exclusively Americans) and not the "kickboxers". So was rooting hard against Bisping against guys like Rashad and Hendo and Chael.

But the guy kept grinding. He took beatings. He came back. He actually got relatively good at defensive wrestling. He could have retired about a million times but kept going until he achieved his goal and won the title (with one eye). What else can you say? Hespect.

The topper to me is that it came full circle when they guy settled down and one of his kids falls into wrestling and competes in it at a collegeiate level. Yes - D2. Which to me makes it even more impressive. The kid obviously isn't doing it for scholarship money, or to wrestle in the Olympics. He's doing it because he must enjoy it. Which I respect so much as a former wrestler, and as a parent, as I know that getting kids to follow your passions isn't always as easy as you think.

I was wrong about you Bisping. You earned my respect. Your family deserves massive respect. God bless.

Well, note back to the editor - You've chosen to publish an article childishly belittling someones character, which has ZERO to do with mma; so it does reflect on making Sherdog.com, its affiliates and sponsors or its parent company, Evolve Media look like amateurs.

Incredible job by the author of the opinion piece. He made Bisping understand how it felt to be belittled, which is what he was doing to Winn. That was the point of the article and it worked splendidly.

The article reeked of hyperbole. I watched the fight and dont really recollect anything about Bisping on that particular evening, but in general, I'd say that his analytical abilities in the moment are about par for the course, and his personality and depth of experience boosts his value as a voice behind the mic.

To label him the "worst commentator in all of sports" is biased, ignorant, or just plain bitter. Sloppy narrative.

Lol. I love Bisping. I appreciate his personality, although it is crass... he is a fighter and chose to hit people in the face for a living.

I dont understand why Sherdog still has it up. Bisping is right lmao, and the child who wrote that needs to go to his playpen, he's too soft.
