Media Michael Bisping has a message to Sherdog's recent article about him

I was on board with Bisping initially cause of his enthusiasm, but he started to become a little weird and pandering to the fighters on the mic, like those fighter meetings he does make him wanna buddy up to everyone. Or he becomes more biased towards the fighter he likes more. And he keeps bringing up these cliche examples (smaller camp might not make you so tired going into a fight <- has said this dozens of times) when they don't quite apply.

So, yeah... I still like the dude. But I'm not hating on the article either. Honestly, DC's emerging as the best guy on the mic right now.

Bisping is completely fine as a commentator. Dunno why DC (who is pretty damn biased towards the wrestler himself) is any better. Yet the guy who wrote the article has him ten times better?

I think whoever wrote the article just had a bad day and took it out on poor Mike lol.

How was it pathetic? I like Bisping, but this was well reasoned, even if I do not agree with everything in it. That's the thing. It's an opinion piece. We can have differences of opinion. Bisping has made himself fair game.

The article was pretty junk

An opinion that Bisping is the worst commentator isn't an argument for being him disingenuous:
"Commentators are allowed to criticize what they're watching, even when they're meant to promote the product. In Bisping's case, however, it was all quite disingenuous. To begin with, Bisping is easily the worst commentator for any major MMA promotion."

He stating this like its genuine data:
"Daniel Cormier, who was five times better than Bisping as a fighter and is 10 times better as a commentator"

Bisping didn't start a feud, he merely responded to a tweet stating hes retired:
"It was only made worse by the fact that Bisping is retired, so there is no point in starting a feud with an active fighter"

He then goes on to claim Bisping had it easy because he was a successful fighter - that is a nonsensical stance to take

The article is aggressively stupid and he wrote an opinion piece four months ago on the 'most biased commentary in UFC history'.

Michael Bispings name did not appear in that article a single time. Nothing has changed in that time other than Deron Wynn embarrassing himself on twitter.

you can fight bisping, but we have gifs and memes

Lev Pisarsky and Michael Bisping are both right.

If avs could be audio clips, that would be mine

I mean, it's true. I just read that article, and the author is literally crying over... Deron WInn? Da fuq?

And that was after Winn said he would beat up Bisping and his kid? lol OK holier-than-thou Sherdog.

This "journalist" sucks. Does this mean that Bisping isn't allowed to be discerning or critical of any fighter just because he's financially comfortable? Deron Winn stinks, he's boring, and has a shit gas tank. Nothing wrong with calling him out for all three.

Having said that, Bisping is a career asshole who rebuilt his reputation by beating an even bigger asshole (Rockhold) and becoming an affable, sarcastic commentator. Don't feel much pity for him, even if the journalist is completely off-base.

Think we need to see how tall that journalist is...

I saw that hit piece. Pathetic mma journalism at its finest, not sure who Lev Pisarsky is but what a bum article based on pure emotion. How did that guy get a job writing

Hahaha, the article reads as a random salty forum member post. "Daniel Cormier, who is 10 times the fighter" is such a childish phrase, that it's awesome.

"To begin with, Bisping is easily the worst commentator for any major MMA promotion. Part of it may not be his fault. He is blind in one eye and has had problems with the other, so in many instances, it’s possible he simply isn't seeing what is occurring inside the cage, and thus gets his description wrong. But part of it is his own incompetence. He is immensely lazy, ignoring what is actually going on in the fights in favor of simplistic, often false narratives to which he clings like a paddle in a ship-wreck. Bisping is also the most shameless shill of anyone currently commentating for the UFC, Joe Rogan included. He will fall over himself praising the abilities of the least skilled, least experienced fighters on the roster, those who would have had no chance of even competing in the UFC before the promotion’s desperate need to fulfill a 42 event per year quota. He does so in a transparently fake, buffoonish manner."

I gotta give it to him though, that's fucking funny. Lev went in <36>
