Michael Bisping calls Vitor Belfort a “piece of ****” who broke “unwritten rule” in Holyfield match

He fought the least risky fight he could. Show me any proof that he carried him in the fight.

Mayweather absolutely did not fight the least risky fight he could, and it’s mental for anyone to really think otherwise. He started cautiously, but the overall story of the fight was one of Mayweather stalking him down, in a borderline wreckless manner, for most of the night. If he wanted to minimise risk it would’ve been a very long and boring fight.

Look, there are degrees to carrying someone. Did you watch David Haye vs Fournier? That’s carrying someone in the most extreme sense. Mayweather didn’t do that, but he fought in a manner that was very nonchalant.

without mma vitor will probably be locked up somewhere in a straightjacket. same breed with people like strickland

Michael’s argument is that it was an exhibition and Vitor shouldn’t have went for the kill so early in the fight.

I’m inclined to agree with Bisping, but in the fight game, if you step into competition you’re fair game.
Thoughts?

It works both ways, if you’re dumb enough to step into a ring with Vitor Belfort expecting him to patter you around - you likely deserve what’s about to come.

If you’re talking about taking it slower for the fans then yeah okay but the only people to blame here is the commission.

Did Vitor really celebrated like he won a title in a real(non-exhibition) match? Thats pretty lame if he did that - I didn't watch it, only saw the gifs.

Agree also keep in mind that Floyd tends to be more in a open stance match up

'ping wants in on that social media boxing money? Is normal...

Bisping is comfortable hiding behind the fact he can't get cleared with 1 eye. I also don't believe that he fought with the fake eye for 1 second

Fake eye and two shot knees he's now had replaced with artificial ones.

This was his eye in 2014 and it only got worse from here.

Yeah Bisping said the fans wanted to see Holyfield move around a bit put on a show for a couple of rounds not come out going for the kill against a 60 year old man like it's a Championship fight.

I think Holyfields management must be a bunch of scumbags putting him in that situation when they knew how deteriorated he was.

His celebration was over the top. It would’ve been nicer to see a bit of respect and recognition of what went down, but he’s hardly the sharpest tool in the shed.

I think people should be directing their disgust at the sanctioning body basically. Someone in Holyfield’s present day condition simply should not be involved in professional combat sports like boxing or mma, or at best should be facing someone in similar condition.

Personally, I think the people that paid for it are to blame too.

I don't think he's ever acknowledged it, at least not lately.

Bisping could have waited about 6 months after the GSP fight and maybe had his retirement fight/rematch with Vitor in the UK, but he had to go and get his head knocked into the ozone layer by Gastelum 3 weeks later, and it fucked his good eye up. Seeing how badly Vitor looked vs Machida, Bisping might have gotten his revenge and went out on a win.
Bisping did that to save the card because cheater Anderson popped for peds again.

Bisping should try telling that to this guy

So he didn't carry him. Agreed

He waited for conor to gas out before putting out any offence. That's as simple as it is.

Vitor should look for Bisping in Anaheim and beat the fuck out of him in some CVS parking lot.

Go back to the Mayberry, casual.
we all know that you're the casual here. You probably think mcstretcher is goat, along with johnnie walker, macy barber, sage northcutt, pvz and all the zuffa marketing projects
