Whatever happened to subtle trolling, where there was still some sort of plausible deniability or element of doubt?
We've gone from Diogenes' lantern, Lord Byron's pet bear, Duchamp's urinal "Fountain" or even recent "sealioning", to massive inflatable green butt plug "Christmas trees".

Yeah, I wasn't referring to your post, but the original "installation". I remember it was some American artist that put it in Paris, until it was taken down due to public protest (which seems entirely fair enough).
