Rumored Merab Might Have Staph

Man, it's not lookin good for Merab. Probably on antibiotics and will be gassed after Suga stops 2 or 3 takedowns.

Someone said the staph + drinking alcohol clips could be some kind of mind game to change the betting odds, but in reality they're staged. I would laugh if that was true.

However, I'll take it at face value. I think Merab is in trouble.

CRP can help, if you're looking for inflammation (suggesting infection) , but it’s likely one of the first thing they check on every blood test

From what I understand Merab doesn't drink, it's supposably water. You ain't faking that staph infection though, that's real imo.

Holy shit that's crazy. I almost considered not training anymore because of it. Then I thought about it and realized maybe training in the morning and then sitting on my couch for hours without showering isn't helping. So now I only go to gyms with showers and after training I hit the showers before I leave.
 
I’d rather they wait if Merab’s got a staph. This could be a really interesting fight, I don’t wanna see a 41°C half-dead merab getting pummeled by O’malley. Patience.
And if he’s good, then... well, good.

It's Merab's choice to pull out or not. But they won't delay O'Malley fighting. They need him to headline the sphere card. They'll find a replacement fighter, and Merab could be stuck waiting 6-12 months for another chance. It's a risk either way.
 
Is that really staph?

Could just be bad rug burn from rolling or some other cut

I agree that, if it's indeed a nasty staph, the situation sucks anyway. But if he still fought, and lost because of it : no more title shot, free beatdown... and still that fucking staph. Whereas if it's only a matter of waiting, well... ah you know, I think I'll just wait and see. He knows what's better for him.
