Here's an interesting thought experiment for you:Who said anything about making guns illegal?
As you can see, gun laws work regionally. It's hard to purchase a gun legally in Illinois.
It's easy to purchase a gun from Mississippi, Georgia, or Indiana and then use it in a crime in Illinois though.
Here's an interesting thought experiment for you:
Why is it that these crime guns sourced from other states, are rarely, if ever, involved in any crime until it arrives in Chicago?
Because all guns are first purchased by legal non-criminal owners who then buy, sell, and trade firearms until it eventually falls into the wrong hands.
