I couldn't care about the legal aspects if you'd paid me. I married my GF in Vegas after 20 years of common life and it was only for us. We were totally selfish. My family looked at us like we were freaks, but they were nice, Small wedding in a cheap white trash chapel. We had a blast.

I keep a regular twink around who I guess you could call a partner but it isn't a live-in situation, he isn't my fiancé and I don't believe in same-sex marriage. I don't oppose it if that's what other people want to do, but I'm utterly indifferent to it as a legal right.

Yeah, crosses my mind every time I see one of the "we just want to get married" memes -- who the fuck is we? lol, never wanted that nevermind the plethora of circus act horseshit that has followed. I ask only for the minimum in terms of liberty, but I don't consider it subject to anybody's acceptance. Is it NICE to get that? Duh, I'm human and life is easier without hostility but it's not a necessity.

I iust watched It Follows (2014) again the other night. I'm still of the opinion that it is a certified, genuine classic and easily one of the greatest horror flicks of the century thus far. The OST is dope AF too.
