You and @superking both. The aesthetics are certainly cleaner on milled receivers but I don't really get the debate where function and use is concerned. Is the extra weight (2.5+ lbs) worth the reduction in recoil? The main point brought up is durability, but how much does that factor when practically every other part of the rifle will give out before the receiver does? lolz. The milled OG 47 actually had a short run and was produced in limited quantities, the vast majority of 762 Kalash rifles ever manufactured are AKM's with stamped receivers -- so yeah, they're definitely less unique and technically "less durable" but it is through them that the platform's real world reputation has been built.
